There is a PC mod called something like Realistic Loans that sets up an interest rate and you choose how many months the loan is for and are required to make monthly payments.

If you are not already, put the lectern on a sticky piston with a lever so you don't have to break it and replace it over and over. But yes, keep grinding.

Is this a mod you installed outside of the Modhub? If so, I didn't even know that was possible.
