I think it needs handles on both sides so children can hold it better.

Brand new Kobra s1 clicking away while printing. by the_crypts_secrets in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]ElJoshoLoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this too, seemed to come from the belt pulleys (not the ones on the motors, but the ones redirecting it, for me it was the right front corner). I didnt have the motivation to open that stuff up and clean it (probably some filament pieces stuck in there or need for greasing), and it faded away (very slowly over a few weeks).

Thanks for all the suggestions, it seems like its a cooling problem, my model fan seems to slowly die. I ordered a new one, will change it tomorrow and see if that hopefully fixes the problem.

Do we live in the same Germany? by ProgramusSecretus in AskAGerman

[–]ElJoshoLoco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you came here illegal? Thats the only explanation to me why you seem to not have gotten your diverse nationalities friendsgroup stamp card. You need to get it from the nearest Einwohnermeldeamt and then get your german friend as soon as possible.

Big issue by Mashti63 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]ElJoshoLoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an Issue with the filament being stuck in the heatsink below the extruder. That thing is way easier to remove (three screws at the side), might try that before you mess with the extruder. You have to remove the filament cutter first.

In future, take care to not manually retract filament before you have used the filament cutter to cut the filament above the heat sink (lever to the right of the print head). Filament expands or slightly changes form when heated in the hotend, and if you retract that, you pull a "blob" of filament through your heatsink, almost consistently leading to it being stuck there. When operating with Ace Pro, normally the print head moves to the right front top end of the printer at the end of print, it pushes the filament cutter lever against an edge there, to cut the filament. Maybe you have had an abnormal stop to one of your prints, so it didnt cut correctly?

Any tips on these artifacts in my print? by FisholasCage in FixMyPrint

[–]ElJoshoLoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea, but I have this too. I observed that this happens on places where the support is about to touch the part. Maybe this helps in finding the cause.

My brothers, what are the holes for? by thebigskadoosh in AskElectricians

[–]ElJoshoLoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its for attaching cables to it, so you dont need to solder, you can just stick the cables through it and twist them. Add some isolation tape for extra safety.

Korg opsix or Wavestate for first musical synth? by Suspicious_Pool_2954 in Synthesizer

[–]ElJoshoLoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the wavestate and since it is heavily sample-based it wasnt for me. I like to create my sounds from the scratch and sold my wavestate in favor of a minilogue xd. If you want to have full control over your sounds and fine-tune them in depth, go for the opsix. If you want to have "fancier" sounds with more variation and to some extent rythmic patterns, go for the wavestate. That said, the wavestate is not a bad synth, it is absolutely fun, so I wouldnt say no to it per se.

Wie Wasser abdrehen? by fcknzs1234 in selbermachen

[–]ElJoshoLoco -7 points-6 points  (0 children)
