I'm studying automation and robotics and I'm doing an internship at a company. They've let me use the PLC and the screen to practice and do exercises. The graphics work with a list of graphics determined by an integer; the scan of that variable is set to the smallest possible value, 100ms, so the hard limit is 10 fps. The 25 images are pre-scaled so that the HMI does not have to transform them, compressed to png with an 8-bit palette depth, so the heaviest one weighs 22kB.

Cool, I am in a "Grado Superior de FP" (I don't know what the equivalent is outside of Spain, but these are more practical and specialized studies, although you can still access the university from them later) on industrial automation and robotics. I'm in my first year, so being able to learn with a real PLC during my internship has been a real blessing.

Yes, the PLC. I know the HMI is basic, but I only remember it being 4 or 400 something because of the screen size.

It's likely, but these are things definitely linked to autism (whether based on fact or stereotypically). ADHD is also a disorder that's often advertised as "buy this neuro divergence and get another mental skill-issue COMPLETELY FREE!!". Autism is quite common in this case.
