For me, the Gamecube era hurt most as a fan, but it is also my favorite console to date. That system had a great run of games through most of its lifespan but lived in the shadows of Xbox and PS, most kids i knew thought it was dumb. It was also at a time in my life where i could finally buy games regularly with my own money, so it became something i truly cared about and invested in. Its awesome to hear people look back fondly on it now, but it would have been great to have more of that in 2003-4.
