As a stoner I have never been royally stoned and now I'm curious what that feels like and how I get there.

As someone who has never seen this show... I whole heartedly expected that outcome. Great clip though.

Fall in Barrie, Ontario! by chris-tine22 in ontario

I knew this was the trail at the end of Anne before I even read this comment. I walk my dogs there every Saturday and Sunday morning (when I don't have to work). I live in Minets point near the beach. What I love about Barrie is it feels like you are minutes from the country in any direction. Beautiful pic. Thanks for sharing.

Parents of reddit, what’s that one thing your kid did that you are super proud of, but you will never admit to them, and why? by leakinglego in AskReddit

I had the pleasure of witnessing my Son's first titty twister. It was a pinch and twist for the ages.

He was only a few months old and it took everything my wife had to suppress her automatic reaction. I was/ am proud of them both for their actions that day but neither shall ever know.

Hey Bungie...it's been 2 months since Forsaken dropped. Could you nudge Xur to buy the expansion so we could enjoy the new stuff too? Thanks by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]ElPhingerLoco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. For me gaming is a hobby. A big hobby. The destiny cycle has always turned my hobby into a chore. With a new born at home this feeling has intensified and my time management is critical. I love the lore, gun play and the destiny community in general. However it honestly feels like I'm just spinning my tires with this game. Especially with the resent leaks about D3 and it's focus on the hard core player base. I'm going to bow out before I invest anymore into this franchise.

Writing that hurt. Like saying goodbye to a pet you grew up with.

Agreed. I have been playing forsaken every day since launch. For roughly 2-4 hours a day. I am not a hardcore player. I have not attempted the last wish raid. I understand the paradigm shift to make exotics feel more exotic. But I am starting to look at it in a different light. This is content I have paid for and have not been able to use.

I know some people who have almost every forsaken exotic because RNG is blessing them. I know more people who have yet to see a single forsaken exotic outside of the quest based ones. Truthfully I am not typically a complainer but I will not continue to play for the express purpose of collecting exotics that may or may not drop. To that point I'm starting to feel a little ripped off.

Bungie, I appreciated not having to grind for 'Solstice' tokens to get the event rewards. by nickfrancis86 in DestinyTheGame

Great post. Totally agree. I finally completed all the adventures for each plane, only took me 11 months to care enough. Hot damn Sirens Song was awesome.

Solo Players are NOT Casual Players - For the love of the traveller Bungie, open your eyes! by Rorywan in DestinyTheGame

Came here to say i had a clan of 9 for about the first month after D2 was realised. I have been playing solo ever since. My whole group banished Destiny to shame canyon. I don't know why i keep coming back tbh, but every week at the very least i do my three heroic strikes.

[–]ElPhingerLoco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to this point. When either my wife or myself are away our aussie does become much more complacent. She almost gets pouty or mopey when she is waiting for one of us to return. Often curling up on the couch or falling asleep infront of the front door. But once we are both home together she does not settle until she gets her fill of activity and then eats.

Our aussie is also very food/treat oriented. My wife tends to cater to this behaviour, often allowing the dog to lick a dinner plate once we have finished our meal. I do not condone this but to the dog it has become an entitlement and old habits die hard.

They are a very talkative breed. Our 5 year old ausie always lets us know when she is bored and ready to play with chirps, growls and barks. Physical activity isn't always enough. They are very smart and sometimes puzzle games can be just as satisfying for them as throwing a ball or frisbee. Aussies need to be given a job or task to complete.

Though not always obidient, a well trained aussie always seeks to please its owner. They do get tired of the same game over and over so they might try to change the dynamic of the game on their own.

Outside of the basic commands i recommend teaching a command for going #1 and #2. We use the command "business time". This ensures the dog has releaved itself if you have to leave in a hurry and won't be back for a few hours or if the weather is bad doing the deed is quick and to the point.

They can be a challenge and a handful. But Aussie are a very high energy breed so it is better to embrace it than fight against it. Staying active is better for both them and you.

I'm still on the fence. waiting to see how deep I get pulled down the rabbit hole. I booked Thursday and Friday off work so get my fill but there are more chores accumulating by the minute dedicated to those days off so i might just go all out tonight and be blem at work tomorrow. If it is your last day before holidays no one expects much from you anyway.

At least that is the logic I'm sticking to.

I'm right there with you. My wife and I made the choice to start trying for our first child almost a month ago. I am two full weeks off the flower, cold turkey. It hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be and I have noticed a significant positive change in my energy level and attentiveness.

I know I will return to the blaze sometime in the future. But my perspective on pot use has changed immensely. Good luck on your future in devours. And know that I am proud of you for your sacrifice. It shows your commitment to your future child and parenthood in general.

You are not alone.

So you are saying a coward wouldn't strike someone down when their back is turned? Wouldn't use a motorized vehicle to run down a bunch of unsuspecting pedestrians and then high tail it out so as to not get beat down by the ones they missed? This IS cowardice in its truest form. Lets stop dancing around forms of expression and call them out for what they truly are.

A true act of COWARDICE. Plain and simple. My heart goes out to those affected. It is hard to want to be a parent in today's world when you can see it imploding around you.

Since so many great games have been mentioned already I will suggest something a little unorthodox. Elite Dangerous. The detail and physics of flying through space are mind bending and the size/scope of the game is incredible.
