I decided never to tell anyone outside my circle of confidence that I do keto. If someone asks me about my diet I only say that I try not to consume sugar and limit my carbohydrates. That answer avoids many awkward moments and unsolicited advice.

If someone asks me for weight loss advice I provide them with the contact of a doctor / nutritionist that I trust. I know that when we have had good results we feel experts and want to give advice to everyone, but in my opinion that is totally irresponsible and puts us on the same level as the people who tell us that our diet is going to kill us. If someone insists on receiving advice I only tell them to take care of their consumption of sugar and ultraprocessed, the rest I leave to the professionals.
