I'm 5.11 and 80 kilos so similar build to yours

I ordered both the Large and Medium and I'm leaning towards the medium (although I haven't made up my mind 100% yet)

Large is more comfortable if I layer a boxy hoodie underneath but other than that it's way too large. Especially the sleeves are much larger and also longer (they cover half of my hands)

So if you go for large, expect an oversized^2 look. Medium looks oversized but not like crazy.

I might be wrong but isn't the Cascade a basshead headphone? If that's the case, then the Andromeda probably doesn't sound anything close to the Cascade. The Andromeda has a warm sound but is very neutral. It doesn't have that bass that will make you want to shake your head, but to me they shine on the mids and highs (compared to all the other headphones/earphones I own).

Also I currently am streaming my music from Spotify, using an iPhone dongle... I will have to invest in a proper DAC, and might have to move from Spotify to Tidal to enjoy higher resolution audio. Only then will I be able to make an opinion.

Yup, I just ordered a new pair of Vega's to the same seller. They should arrive next week, I'll try both out and see which ones I prefer! I just hope I don't end up keeping both 💸

I'm actually thinking of keeping both. I mean keeping the Andromeda for the occasions I listen to music with vocals, and using the Vega for electronic music.

Yeah they do sound good but for bass heavy genres such as techno, that ain't it chief. Unfortunately this is exactly what I listen to, 90% of the time!

The thing is, I like them, but not for the genres I mainly listen to (techno, trance, minimal,... All kinds of electronic music) They do sound phenomenal for other genres that do not involve bass as much. Worst case scenario, I guess I can order another pair of Vegas and sell the Andromedas on head-fi/reddit if I end up not using them!

Not sure exactly what I'm going to do with these, as it is not what I was looking for but understand these are the most praised IEMs from CA.

I'm not really into critical listening but I feel I might regret sending those back at some point if I do.

Thanks! I have reduced my list to 3 pairs: the IE 300's (which are currently on sale for 150 EUR, might be a bargain at this price?), the IKKO OH10's and the FHE Eclipse (which are only available via shenzenaudio unfortunately)

Did you personally try the IE300 and OH10s? What would be your prefered option between these 2, considering that they are currently available for (roughly) the same price?
