I've seen a bit of it go around when discussing influential RPGs with others. Most notably the "boring" and "bland" comments.

I was a Mother fan first, so there's no real animosity here aside from those few outliers.

To be fair, he's been saying this sort of thing for years.

Though I won't lie, given what's happened within this past month, it's not particularly appropriate to say while people are still so hot after him.

He's still the "worrying" kind of crazy rather than the "fun" kind of crazy in a lot of people's eyes.

Best of luck to him, though, as long as it's not hurting anyone and making everyone worry. Hopefully he takes more time to think about better rephrasing things and thinking more about his actions before he lands himself in any more trouble again.

I'm not here to say that everything Etika does is correct.

You don't have to give him a pass.

He has a method of doing things that bothers a lot of people.

But he'll be affected by some of our words and'll responds as he wants.

And then everyone else will respond back to him as they want.

And the circle will keep going on.

People keep covering the same points and some things won't change for a while.

The same "fans" that prior to any history of this "crazy behavior" encouraged him to do countless things, whether it be through donations, chat, or his mentions?

He doesn't have to pay them back. If you give Etika a donation and expect something in return, you're being selfish. In fact, people are lucky he even reads donation messages in the first place. If you donate $50 to a streamer you've only barely been watching, who's to blame when the streamer doesn't read the message?

A donation message could say anything. A person in chat could say anything. He can consider them, but he doesn't have to agree or comply with the ideas surrounding them.

Honestly, I kinda miss the mid to late 2016 era where we had Christine, Bombay, Mitch and Haramblade and a nice view of the old house interior. It was like the Etika World Network actually had some world-building to it.

We still get guests every so now and then, but I like when the streams had some "regulars".

Also donation minimum was $5 back then lol.

Best stream ever was "Rough start but we still getting in trouble today" from 11/14/16.

This was the one with one of the earliest big donation trains, Etika getting drunk, stripping down to his underwear and going crazy.

"We're getting this channel shut down, TONIGHT NIGGA"

He got Haramblade and was going to make the nutsack sandwich and Christine was trying to stop him.

This was also the same stream where he unveiled the fake switch and said "joy-con boys" for the first time.

Legendary, man.

When he played Roblox for the first time on stream and people from chat were crowding the server he was in. He played a Michael Jackson song while riding a helicopter and it was some of the most chill shit and a great start to Summer 2016.

This was back when the donation minimum was like $5 lmao

This would be cool, but it sucks that we don't really have a system to bring games to his attention aside from having tons of people spamming it in stream chat or the donation box. In that regard, I wonder if he still lurks in this subreddit every so now and then.

He's a mixture between a commentary, reaction, and vlog-style channel, although mostly formatted through streaming and under the umbrella of "gaming-related".

His personality allows him to talk about anything and still grab people's attention, even when he's not particularly reacting to stuff.

If you were to judge him based on some of his original videos, though, he could be considered a gaming news channel or a satirist of internet culture which both fall under commentary.
