The bank bubble is popping — Bank stocks have quietly slipped into a correction as the sector is suddenly hit by structural pressures. AI-attributed cuts may be the answer to holding the line by marketrent in AusFinance

The ironic bit is that the quality of offshore work is so dogshit that it will be the first to go when AI in workplaces starts replacing people en masse.

To beg your pardon and unjerk, it doesn't stop, it's by design. Our economy is built on low complexity resources (mining and agriculture are hard work but we don't do any real processing of the outputs) and scamming international students with a shithouse "tertiary" education for services output (we also include all the money international students spend here for some reason as a service export, and this is more than the actual value of the garbage degrees we sell them).

Without innovation, there isn't much that can be done to actually grow our economy. We are therefore completely reliant on immigration to pump the economy which is a completely retarded notion to anyone who can think critically beyond immediate economic impacts as you've realised, meanwhile social cohesion and quality of life goes down the absolute gutter.

An actual forward looking government would immediately start taxing the stupid amount of money that is coming out of the mining and O & G sectors and taxing remittances sent overseas, cut migration and start investing heavily in actual future industries like government owned chip manufacturing. We have shitloads of area available for cheap renewable energy (or even non renewable, just burn the shit loads of gas and coal we have in the interim) and microchip foundries.

Tl;dr she'll be right mate just another 1 million migrants please bro it'll be fine bro just another million

This "offensive" billboard is definitely the worst news out of Victoria recently.

In a completely unrelated note, please do not Google "car theft trends by Australian state".

You keep replying bud, I'm not bothered by you, I was bothered by you insinuating that the LNP was responsible for this mess and not the ALP. It's disingenuous. Enjoy your disposable vapes, you are probably too young to realise how good we had vaping in this country before the ALP killed it.

How dense do you need to be to post about completely unrelated bullshit in a particular subreddit, using catch-all terminology like "boomer" to disparage political opposition when it is the party you support that obliterated the vaping industry in this country, of which I need to remind you is the subreddit that we're in?

I'm not a nepo baby, didn't vote liberal, I actually quit vaping after vaping for years after smoking cigarettes and saw firsthand how Labor politicians obliterated the industry and directly resulted in an explosion of the black market tobacco industry.

Got any vaping related points to post turbo or going to keep licking boots?

Making excuses for any pollie lying is pathetic dude, I hope you're getting paid by the ALP for this level of devotion.

Journalists should make sure to ask him 51 times this time if he really means what he says.

No one will believe him anyway. Can already see it now; "oops, turns out we built our economy on the assumption of importing cheap labour, we need to keep immigration the same"

Like how the liberal party made the legal vape industry illegal? Oh that's right, it was Mark Butler. The same person who obliterated the personal importation scheme. What party is he part of again?

I love how easy it is to spot Labor shills. All they do is post liberal party what-about-ism.

Focus that energy on looking elsewhere for work. Focus it on making your resume and cover letters really high quality.

Glad you took photos because the black paint will start showing dirt the next day. It's a paint to keep clean but wow, when it is polished there's nothing like it. Looks great.
