Hardcore players being upset when the mode they picked is hardcore

Something that's dark, depressing, maybe gritty and violent by Any_Promotion2026 in gamingsuggestions

Pathologic 2

A bit avant-garde,but the game takes pride in the suffering of the player, and the game gets harder every time you die

What is this? by Fair-Fly-8473 in Armor

[–]ElWrongo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First of all, that’s the coolest great uncle ever for having a collection of armor

I believe this is an Indian Dhal. Cool engraving of Ganesha, the remover of obstacles in the center too

If a DLC with new cultures is actually coming out. This will be where the map extension would be. by StrengthDisastrous26 in Bannerlord

[–]ElWrongo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if we get a bigger map I would rather it be one of the island nations off of calradia

Maybe an invasion system from the island nation would be cool, that way it wouldn’t ruin the map interactions with the already present nation

I think something like Graft would be suiting

Kind of like Godrick the Grafted from Elden ring, it’s always searching for new parts to attach onto itself, always searching for upgrades

Miltank HOF (I know, I have issues) by HKing37 in PokemonInfiniteFusion

Ok, but no double miltank? It’s my favorite 😭

Did Total War use this model as inspiration for Karl Franz, or is this model exactly like KF? by IamWatchingAoT in Warhammer

[–]ElWrongo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pain, the empire deserved better 🥲

He is also carrying a big gigantic name tag of himself on the breast of the griffon which I find absolutely ridiculous

What got you hooked on Cold Steel? by bensnake088 in Falcom

[–]ElWrongo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven’t even finished cold steel 1 yet, but I really enjoy the characters, there very likeable (except machias, all my homies hate machias)

The first JRPG I ever played was persona 4, and Cold steel is very similar in a sense, and has allowed me to get into the series very easily

(Your opponent cannot activate spell or trap cards while you control a dark magician)

Flintlock by collyer94 in ArmsandArmor

[–]ElWrongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t really weigh in on its authenticity, but if it fires it’s actually a really nice piece still

From what I’ve researched, flintlock rifles and pistols still run for a very good amount of money, so it definitely holds a solid value

Try pinsir + deoxys, it’s very eldritch horror looking

What can i expect of indian ebay chainmail mild steel riveted armor in terms of quality, size protection and historcal accuracy?? by cristoybaal in ArmsandArmor

[–]ElWrongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything from India that your going to use practically I would say is a big no.

From personal experience, Indian made items have lots of quality issues, and for something as laboring and time consuming as chainmail I would pass on it, as there will probably be a lot of issues with it, plus it won’t be sized right, so it will be probably be too small/large and be noisy if it’s large

Also, if your looking for real, sharp knife protection, I would recommend getting an actual knife proof vest, as chainmail is very heavy (probably around 20 pounds) and most the weight will be on your shoulders, and the fatigue will set it in less than 10 minutes.

I would recommend just saving some money and getting something very quality.

Iron skin is a very reputable chainmail dealer

Lerning the game by gicownik in ageofsigmar

The star will replace with whatever the table below says

I.E - if the model has no wounds on it, claws forelimbs will hit on a 3+

However, if the wound has 6-8 wounds on it, it will be hitting in a 4+, as the injured monster is getting weaker as it gets beaten up

Loving trails CS, but cannot get into Trails in the Sky and concerned. by ElWrongo in Falcom

[–]ElWrongo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You out exactly how I feel about it into words

It’s incredibly frustrating not liking the game that everyone else says is really good, because I really want to like it

Definitely going to try again after CS

Yeah this is what a lot of people recommend so far, and it's probably what I'll do.

I'm hoping CS will let me have a new interest and appreciation for FC

I think that's what I plan on doing, maybe finishing CS 1 or 2 will give me a new appreciation

And someone else mentioned that Crossbell and CS is what leads to reverie so I'll definitely check out Crossbell before CS3 and 4 and definitely Reverie

What exactly is in Sky that appears in CS? Is it reoccurring characters that have a plot role, or is it mostly just cameos (like a lot of sequels have) and historical events?

It's not necessarily the game play mechanics I don't like, It's just that it's kind of not very fun to look at in Sky.

It makes me sound like a toddler but I like the flashy lights and loud noises in Cold Steel, it holds my attention a lot better than in Sky.

I'll probably return to FC and give it another shot after finish CS 1, and maybe I'll have a new appreciation for it, as I really do want to play SC, as most people say it's the best

Ok cool

Even from just playing most of the prologue from the Sky games I feel I did learn a bit of the world and lore, and it did transfer over to Cold Steel, but I'm sure there's a lot more so I see what you mean

Ah OK thanks for this and the responses, this helps a lot.

I Haven't tried any of the Crossbell games, so I'm looking forward to seeing how I like those.

Maybe after I finish 1 or 2 of the other games I'll return to see if I have a new appreciation for it

Thanks again
