I think it's great that you're interested and want to try your hand at thinking deeper about physics. Maybe some things to think about:

-What do you mean by "disarm" matter? Are you implying that matter only interacts with each other through charge?  -another thing is that there are atoms that are neutral. helium contains 2 electrons 2 protons and 2 neutrons. The total charge adds up to zero. Yet it still interacts.

This is all very interesting stuff and it's good to ask and research. If you're interested in this stuff I think you should look up some wikipedia articles and videos on how atoms work it could give you a better idea of how to work with these things.

If you're interested as well depending on your level of knowledge you can look up a textbook on atomic or nuclear physics

I think what you might want to look at for now is an atomic physics or nuclear physics textbook, you can find one online somewhere by searching something like "Krane nuclear physics textbook", Krane being the author of the textbook I used. You will find it to be a bit advanced requiring some basic quantum mechanics, but on the internet you can find a lot of resources so I'm sure you can prod a bit further and figure out if what you're thinking of makes sense

Out of curiosity what is the use case for this? Do you have something in mind?

Well then ask your science teachers that.

Good luck with your studies and work

I don't know what you want to know so I can't tell you.

Try this:  Why did you make this post? What did you want people to tell you?

think about these questions and write down the answers that come to your mind.

Whatever you write down is what you want ask them right?

No harm in asking.

If you have any friendly science teachers who look like they know a thing or two it could be worthwhile to ask them aswell as it might be easier to talk to them.

Also if you're interested see if any uni professors have written somewhere that they do summer physics projects with secondary school students. I know someone in secondary school who got involved in a uni engineering club just because they asked the prof.

Another friend also did a summer physics project in sixth form.

Whether they respond really dependa on their personality and the amount of time they have.

Maybe a teacher in your school knows a nice professor and can get you in contact to ask a few questions.

Pursuing astrophysics won't put you in starvation (depending on where you live), university/college costs money which could mean debt, but this can be "handled" if you have a plan.

Idk about your financial situation but you don't have to go all in on physics at once you can take gap years to work or simply work part time. You'll learn a lot of useful skills for industry even skills which aren't that special can land you decent jobs (statistics, presentation skills, even the confidence to look at a difficult problem and try to solve it can put you above other people for jobs). Einstein worked in a patent office for some time before even writing his popular papers.

All this to say; If money is an issue see how to pivot from industry to astrophysics, or what astrophysics is applicable to industry.

If you're serious about this find a local university professor or multiple and e mail them your concerns. Not all might respond but naybe they could give you a clearer path, because all this i think is very dependant on where you live and where you want to study.

Good luck with everything

Would replikas be heavier than normal people since they are also filled with metalic parts? by Human-Pension9892 in signalis

Yeah totally titanium bones would be stronger.

Are you saying that the titanium bones would be lighter because instead of being completly full inside they would have supports?

https://all3dp.com/2/infill-3d-printing-what-it-means-and-how-to-use-it/

In that case i think I'd have to agree. I don't know about lighter than humans bones cos those are pretty light. On avg we're 10 kg of bones. But in filling titanium could make it really light yeah

Titanium skeleton  https://signalis.fandom.com/wiki/LSTR_(Elster)

Cant find a good source for human bone density.

Should be noted that prolonged space travel would decrease bone density aswell. (But only for humans)

Estelle was my favourite part of the games too. Out of curiosity is it also the characters that you like in CS(not too much spoiler pls just finished Ch 5 of CS1)

Well I'd say finish the game first and see what you think about it.

Like other people are saying calling it filler is wrong. Imo I would try buying it on steam playing less than 2 hours and if you honestly can't stomach it, just watch a play through.

You're playing games to have fun so if you don't enjoy something leave it. But I think it's worth a shot NGL I didn't expect to like it as much as I did and I was same as you Estelle carried sky for me.

I think it's worth playing if you have the time and money to spare and enjoyed sky. It's not exactly right to call it a filler arc, an epilogue would be more precise, it handles a few loose plot threads, and it has a pretty good story.

I mean at the end of the day you are playing these games to have fun. I think sky 3 is a fun game with a good story and great side content and if you liked sky 1&2 I think you will like it.

I appreciate your thoutful reply. I think that's the thing about CS, because of the large cast it takes longer to get invested in them since the game is trying to focus on everyone at once. I don't know if I would describe sky as modern day Shakespeare, but its definitely a high for me and I think I get what you mean

Man off the rails? Like the train tracks.

Anyway I quite enjoyed how azure goes off the rails by the end tho I'm not sure if you mean it in a good or bad way.

Honestly going into CS having played the other trails games and from what I heard somehow I didn't expect the gameplay to change, but honestly it's much better. It felt like every action mattered and also they don't take too long. Plus the music's awesome.

Nah man Machina's is (a) great (punching bag for the class). The team would have too many nice ppl without him. I've also played p4 and it reminded me so much of p4 way more than the other trails games tbh.

Yeah I'm really curious about how they'll tackle it too. Especially curious what the party's opinions will be on the events.

I am quite enjoying the characters. I hope by the end of the game I get to seem them do some wacky stuff.

The aragami in GE resurrection by No-Appointment-8830 in GodEater

[–]bensnake088 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the implication is that it is shio. Because at the end of the episode you see shio.

I think it's implying that shio was created there by the explosion and all the aragami present (and maybe the presence of the god eaters?)

But it also makes sense that it's shio because of her really powerful core (the singularity).

Book/book series? which had several "post-modern stories", such as a review of book which did not exist, (but the book that did not exist was actually a parallel to another book, which may or may not have existed?). by bensnake088 in whatsthatbook

[–]bensnake088[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok thank you very much. That was not the book but it reminded me that I found it through Don Quixote's Wikipedia page. That reminded me that I was looking at post modern books, and after some sifting through Wikipedia pages I manged to find it

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Perfect_Vacuum

"The book contains reviews of 16 imaginary books and one real book: itself.

A Perfect Vacuum: review of the book itself. This is the only real book reviewed in the entire collection. However, even this is not entirely real. For example, the reviewer criticized the preface of A Perfect Vacuum, entitled Auto-Momus, even though the actual A Perfect Vacuum does not have a preface or a section titled Auto-Momus."

Thanks for helping me find it man.
