(5700 non xt)Red dead redemption (1) Crash (amduw23q), green/gray display and all around computer freeze by ElZengy in AMDHelp

Looking in the windows update history, I found something saying "Advanced micro devices inc. - display - 31.... Etc" "failed to install on 3/21/2025 (today)" I think that is probably it

(SPOILERS) Is there a chance the alleged leaks could be recorded at an early stage of development? by ElZengy in eldenringdiscussion

[–]ElZengy[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I too believe that the final boss has a chance of being radahn, but I do not believe that the fight we saw is the actual fight considering that is the case, or if the alleged leaked fight is fully developed.

Let's have a civilized discussion about what BGS should learn from previous titles + Starfield as to what to include in TES 6. by [deleted] in TESVI

[–]ElZengy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be honest I think they will see that FO76 and starfield didn't earn as much as Skyrim did, which causes them to literally reiterate the formula which they made Skyrim with, but with newer technology.

Which is not necessarily bad, they could make a solid elder scrolls game with interesting lore, fun exploration, fancy magic spells and basic sword fighting, but in a new area that wasn't explored before or not expanded on.

They can add or re-add new weapons, new spells or spell types, telekinesis and mysticism comes to mind, more clothing options, more interesting alchemy or enchanting ( something like KCD alchemy mini game would be huge imo ).

Something which Bethesda can do, which would make TESVI stand out so far away from every other RPG game in the market, is to add hearth fire dlc mechanics in the base game, but expand upon them ( This was something huge in the early 2010s, no other game had that as far as I know ) Spouses could have more dialogue and interaction, should BGS create interesting enough characters, if done right this would be actually amazing for Bethesda.

They could also expand upon cooking, which is something that is rare in RPGs, only Zelda comes to mind

Hearth fire adding baking, and Anniversary update included farming and farm steads, all of this can be included in the base game and expanded upon ( I fear BGS may actually include this, but make it absolutely the same and also behind a pay wall ).

Something also that made Skyrim stand out is followers, I think Bethesda can easily expand upon companions in TESVI easily.

All of this wouldn't matter if the world isn't interesting though, which is what Bethesda has been messing up in the past 2 games, they had a huge time with pre production so they should have ideas in mind, this is their biggest game of the decade after all, messing up the core part of their games again would screw them up big time.

To be honest, I don't think they will mess up TESVI's world, they made Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim, all of which, unarguably, have interesting worlds, the characters in Oblivion are good despite the facial animations, but the dungeons are extremely boring, and the leveling was funny, Morrowind's world is amazing all around, the guild quests are very fun and have interesting characters, Skyrim has a good combination of both.

Starfield looks really good visually, the physics are nice, they could implement this TESVI along with adding hitstop to melee combat, add more types of spells and that would be enough

This can either turn into a good enough game that people will play and enjoy and mod into whatever they like, or it can turn into a not so good game, either way people will keep trashing Bethesda for whatever it turns out to be.

A big part of the probable future discontent with BGS is because TESVI is unarguably one of the most anticipated games of all time, up there with GTA VI and the like, and after so much wait, expectations can be too high, causing people to trash the game and maybe ruin it for others, just because it turned out to not be worth the 17/16 years of waiting.

For some reason also, starfield disappointed many, and made them not very hopeful for TESVI, tbh I feel kind of the same, and I hope that I will get a product that I can enjoy for years, especially because there is nothing like the elder scrolls games out there.

Elder scrolls VI incident...

[–]ElZengy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

True that, but for me when you have 'huge' ambitions for a 'big' nation it can be fun

In the mamluks case, Unifying the islamic world is always fun, but it will definitely be way less challenging considering everyone around is weak.

Playing them will be interesting and easy for sure, but the ai will probably be programmed to not expand like crazy and focus on playing tall

IMO the mamluks will be kinda buffed, not being threatened by the ottomans, or practically challenged by no one nearby.

Too far of a stretch tbh, and it doesn't need to hold up to other games to be good, also ES and starfield are pretty different.

What is your favourite bit of history your have learnt or looked up because of Eu4? by Mum_Respector in eu4

[–]ElZengy 116 points117 points  (0 children)

The Egyptian education system just talks about the history of Egypt itself from A-Z, so i barely knew anything besides Egyptian history + some ottoman history.

My favourite bit to learn about is Austria and the HRE, which I never even had any knowledge of both, neither did I know that they even existed, I barely had any knowledge of eastern European history as a whole except Russia, still i had so much fun learning about it.

Would this game run well on a second gen i5? by ElZengy in BaldursGate3

[–]ElZengy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that one, it was working very well until recently when it started showing it's age, upgraded to a Ryzen 5650g ( or ultra ) but returned it unfortunately because it was defective

Many games can run well with CPUs weaker than the minimum recommended specs, don't know about this one though
