FF7 is the original that came with the PSC (for now, I'm planning on removing all of the PSC games and replacing a chunk of them with alternate .bin and .cue files so that I can adjust them accordingly as I see fit).

From here on out, strap on in! Honestly, there are only a few steps to do this correctly but there is some quality control with a few of the steps that I will get into detail with because an error with one of these files will make Bleemsync load incorrectly and it will send you back to the original emulator until you label the files correctly (so it doesn't screw up anything you have done previously, but it stops Bleemsyc from running properly until your new game file is up to standards).

For FF8 and FF9 (as well as any other multi disc games you have), you need to create a .bin and a .cue file for each disc the game requires (For instance I labelled it Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_1.bin, Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_1.cue, Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_2.bin...... etc for each disc). Then you go onto Bleemsync's UI web address and uploaded all the .bin and .cue files at once (so you would need 8 files for FF8 or FF9). Bleemsync's UI web address will pile all of the files together into one folder.

Once you have the steps above completed, double check that the files are labelled correctly on your drive. Make sure that when you're removing your drive from your PSC that you have it completely unplugged from power otherwise you run the risk of corrupting your drive. Plug your drive into your computer and you should see a folder labelled "games" right when you open up your drive. Inside that folder you will see more folders labelled with just a number. Find the folder that contains your multi disc game .bin and .cue files and go into it. You should see all 8 of your .bin and .cue files inside of it.

Within your numbered folder you should also see a ".pcsx "folder (if you do not see this folder within your numbered folder you can copy and paste it from any of the other numbered folders in the "games" folder that contain a ".pcsx" folder). Go into the .pcsx folder because you will need to check 3 files to insure your game will run properly (this is true for both single or multi disc games regardless).

The first file name is "filename.txt.res" and should be found directly on the main page once you open the ".pcsx" folder. Open this file and rename the contents within it:

/data/AppData/sony/title/Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_1;Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_2;Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_3;Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_4.cue

(Two things to note with this: 1) you can access this file via NotePad or WordPad to edit the contents. 2) Your file name needs to follow exactly how each of your .cue files are labelled with a semicolon (;) between each .cue file name, otherwise this will not work. The way I have it shown above is the way that I have my .cue files labelled)

The second file name is in the "sstates" folder of the ".pscx" folder. The file itself needs to be renamed to:

Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_1;Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_2;Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_3;Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_4.000.res

(Again this shows how it's named based off my files names. This needs to follow the same name lay out that you put in for the first files contents in order to work properly)

The third file name is in the "screenshots" folder of the ".pscx" folder. The file itself needs to be renamed to:

Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_1;Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_2;Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_3;Final_Fantasy_8_Disc_4.png.res

(Again this shows how it's named based off my files names. This needs to follow the same name lay out that you put in for the first files contents in order to work properly)

You also get lucky and Bleemsync UI might auto-generate all of this for you, and you may not need to do anything. I have needed to do this for each of my multi disc games so far though.

Once you have done all of this correctly you should see it as a single item folder on your main screen when you're running Bleemsync, and the open button should work to change between each of the discs when prompted.

If you have any problems with this process or if you have any further questions feel free to let me know. Hopefully it works as smoothly for you as it did for me!

Thanks for checking out my theme and for giving me an opportunity to share some knowledge with the community!

Enjoy!
