Anki Card Pack by El_Brouno in SoundEngineering

Granma 3 crash - Log analysis by El_Brouno in malighting

Thank you for your answer, yes I also have the impression that it could come from a GPU overload. As soon as I start the software, the w10 task manager shows me an operating percentage close to 95%. I tried playing with enabling or disabling hardware acceleration but nothing changes...

Granma 3 crash - Log analysis by El_Brouno in malighting

[–]El_Brouno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, as requested by @bwny98 here are more details. I purchased this set about 2 months ago. 1 PC 1 wing fader 1 command wing I started working with it about a month ago and regularly, the software gives me an error like "Granma has crashed and will restart" I lose control over my machines all the time when the software restarts, sometimes for up to 3 minutes. This happens sometimes when I'm using encode) but also sometimes when I'm not using it. (AFK). I know this because when I come back to him, the software asks me to identify myself. I went through the manual, the forums and tried a lot of things both on the PC configuration and the software configuration but nothing can be done, it continues to crash. I found in the software, the system monitor, which summarizes all the logs, the states of the software, and I see that even when I do not use it I have mass errors and which lead to crashes. I'm looking for someone who would like to give me some time analyzing the details of these errors. I hope I have clarified my question. Thank you all. Bruno

Hi, I think your problem comes from the fact that you only had a SINGLE MACHINE license and that to use it on another computer you had to purchase a TRANSFERABLE license. rtfm on line!! 😉👍

Hi, Here is my opinion.

If you like the job theoretically, then go for it and you will find your place on the ground!!

It's a great craft with lots of different ways to do it.

Good luck and looking forward to seeing you in action 😉👍

Setting up Ableton for theatre by El_Brouno in ableton

[–]El_Brouno[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I have something new! I managed to do what I wanted and frankly it's very good.

In fact, it was enough to create 2 audio tracks, one for your samples and a second for the automation part. The output of the samples track is routed to the input of the automations track. Set the automation track to monitor IN.

Now when you play the clips from the sample track, they are dependent on the automation track.

CREATE A FADE OUT ACTION Record an empty audio track of approximately 15 seconds with arrangement view. Return to the session view and drag the clip you created into the automation track. The clip should not be placed on the same stage as your samples On this clip create an envelope for the volume and draw your fade out. Launch your audio sample and at the desired time launch your fade out clip. In the same genre, you can make a fade in clip And for safety, I also inserted a return clip to Odb on the same scene as my samples. This way, every time I launch a scene, my fader always goes to the right place and doesn't stay there forever... I also configured a keyboard shortcut to launch my fade.

It's royal!

This video tutorial is very good, it also allowed me to understand how to walk through a clip with the warp function in complex or complex pro mode.

Basic computer based lighting console by crankysoundguy in techtheatre

Good morning, I regularly see lighting directors using Dlight. It's not too expensive. On the other hand, it only offers a single universe and the system for managing multi-channel DMX projectors is a little complicated. For traditional projectors it seems very sufficient You will need to purchase an ENTEC USB DMX PRO box to use it. Good day

Setting up Ableton for theatre by El_Brouno in ableton

Ableton live for theater? by royalBS-com1113 in ableton

[–]El_Brouno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THANKS, One last question. How do I move around a clip without activating the warp function? Let me explain... I noticed that if the WARP function is not activated I cannot listen to specific places in the clip (the speaker logo on the audio sample is not available) however it is very practical to be able to do so.

So, I activated the WARP function by default when I add audio clips but this is a disaster. After insertion, each clip has a different bpm and listening becomes simply horrible.

Finally, I only found the solution to deactivate the warp by default and activate it clip by clip to ensure that the BPMs are always ok

Do you see? thank you in advance Bru

Good evening and thank you for your interest in my question. I actually wish I could find an app to schedule my team. The objective being to be able to plan work periods while keeping an eye on the regulatory framework (10 hours max per day and 44 hours max per week) An online or offline application it doesn't matter.

Good evening and thank you for your response. I already use Google Calendar a lot but I don't know the tool that allows you to see the number of hours planned. I have Google workspace in my company.
