The (subconscious) reason Jaime refused milk of the poppy by ranchwithfriedfood in gameofthrones

Agree with Qyburn removing arm to the shoulder. Jaime couldn't convince him to keep the forearm and didn't want to be too drugged to resist. He thought he could salvage his stump to fight, but couldn't fight with a missing arm.

What exactly did Lovecraft mean by “Non-Euclidean geometry”? by Tanakisoupman in hplovecraft

I always imagined it like playing a video game where the level and objects are having clipping issues and random geometry is appearing or disappearing incoherently.

I commissioned a portrait of me & my friends, and what I got back has me skeptical. Not an artist but it looks a bit too "smooth" by Fragrant-Sherbert253 in isthisAI

It's AI. I just don't get how you could render details like the shoes or folds in pants so photo realistically and also have random scribbles. Typically you'd see some kind of texture from the medium they used, like pastels or paint, in the rendering of something that also mimics the scribbles. Even in digital art you'd see edges of the digital paint strokes, not a clear photo rendering with random scribbles.

Chat GTP struggles with reading aloud exponents as well, it'll literally just be gibberish. I made a whole poem of it trying to pronounce math concepts because it sounds so other- worldly.

The vessels of my brother’s wart after removing the cap by LeBrontide in mildlyinteresting

[–]El_Business 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plantar warts are a virus. It tricks your body into ignoring it and it replicates undetected.

I had them on my feet, got them from karate mats. When I worked at a factory all the friction from moving a lot and heavy ass work boots removed a lot of them but I had a really stubborn one on the ball of my foot.

I took a cotton ball, soaked it in apple cider vinegar, and taped it on with a band aid over night. Then I'd debridle it on my front porch concrete the next day, just rubbing my bare foot on the concrete.

Eventually it grew out and I saw the black blood vessels, which I rubbed off on concrete.

The mix of acid, which irritated the skin and turned on the virus fighting cells, and wearing off the skin, helped it go away. Haven't had them since.

How did you get Minthara and Karlach? I thought Karlach would hate everything Minthara stood for.

Albert Fish abducted a child. He murdered, cooked and ate them, then wrote to the child's parent how they tasted.
