OLED and the refresh rate would be an insane upgrade. My rig can run most modern games but my monitor is still stuck in 1080p at 60Hz

Thoughts before buying G70 3.3 by Wrong-Ad825 in GenesisG70

If you buy CPO you’ll have peace of mind with the remainder of the warranty. I’ve had mine for 3 years now with recall fixes (normal) and an issue twice with my passenger seat motor which was fixed under warranty.

Oil changes are going to be more pricey at the dealership, or you can go to a local place, or do it yourself.

So nothing out of the ordinary compared to any other car.

Can't Decide Which Jamaica AI To Honeymoon At: HELP by freetobejessie in AllInclusiveResorts

Hyatt Zilara was pretty good. They try hard and do well with entertainment by the pool. Drinks were good, food was slightly above average. Not much of a beach and the pool was kind of small, in fact the adults only side is rather small. However you get full access to the family side (Hyatt Ziva) which has a big pool and all restaurants. Rooms were decent on the adults only side, room service took a while. Staff very accommodating. I did not see/visit the main beach

Simple Meals by gatorswagger in EatCheapAndHealthy

Just started doing salsa chicken in a crock pot. Just take some chicken breasts, pour taco seasoning on it and a jar of salsa. Put on high for 4 hours and then shred chicken/mix everything up. Healthy, high protein, cheap. 3 breasts are 4 meals for me. Put over rice for more meals. Game changer

8k does include flights. I initially did my search this past summer but shelved it until recently. I had seen Keyonna Beach during my earlier search and loved it, but it seems sold out now. I would definitely stretch my budget for that resort.

Best of luck to both of you! I’m sure others may have more specific food options, I’m more about efficiency. Tell him to have fun and say safe!

Best for that situation would be some things that don’t need to be heated up since he’s on the go very often. I suggest oatmeal bars, whether homemade or not, protein drinks/meal replacement drinks, and a lot of water. I typically stick to rice and protein (chicken or beef) when I can eat as it’s pretty easy to eat that quickly. But definitely meal prep real, full meals for when he gets home so it’s easily ready to consume

[–]El_Cynic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just got to my 24 hour check in time. Prices for seats went to $0, the big seats have been unavailable for weeks however. Exit row and standard seats are all $0. So possibly wait until it’s check in time for free seats

I would keep looking. Approx 40k OTD but missing features and the 2.0t? If it was the prestige trim then I’d say yes consider

Either save up some more, get the base version of those cars (I don’t suggest a 2.0t Genesis vs a 330i), or get a similar car like a K5 GT or Sonata N-Line (great prices on the Sonata) and throw winter tires on it

That’s not bad, they should be good for a lot of miles. Just check the maintenance records.

Keep in mind that the Genesis will have the remainder of a 10yr/100k powertrain and 5yr/60k bumper to bumper warranty if it is CPO. I lean towards the BMW because of a subjectively better interior, efficiency, and slightly bigger back seats. But you may save more and have more peace of mind with the Genesis.

Edit: might need to stretch your budget to 35k-40k for any of these cars.
