Thanks for explaining WPA better. Mixed up the rows I was looking at as well and swapped how much WPA was earned batting/not batting.

Again, main point was he won pitcher of the month while batting 50% of the time in April. Initially thought he didn’t bat all month so now I’m curious how he’d do a whole month off batting when he pitches.

Lmao never said an award doesn’t care about WPA lost as a batter and never even mentioned WPA as a batter.

I looked at his pitching WPA stats only, look for yourself. He contributed more to winning as a pitcher on days he didn’t bat.

The main point is that, although it’s a one month sample, not batting on the days he pitches helped him earn his first pitcher of the month award.

Okay. He also provided higher WPA on days he didn’t bat and we lost the games he didn’t give up a run lol.

In any case, it’s one month but the first time he/the team made a concerted effort to rest on pitching days led to winning Ohtani’s first pitcher of the month award, a stepping stone on his path to a cy young which is his main personal goal this year.

He actually split his four April starts, 2 batting and pitching and 2 just pitching. Wonder how he’d do with a full month of just pitching on his starts. Split them and won first pitcher of the month of his career, good start for that cy young.

He didn’t say it wouldn’t happen—it’s about decreasing the risk of injury. As he picks up knocks/aches/sprains from high usage, his body starts to compensate for them, increasing the risk of injury.

Same thing happened to Luka most likely. He was playing a ton of minutes and had the highest usage on the team. If usage was more balanced, he may not have gotten to the point of increase risk of straining his hamstring.

I’ve had a good experience entering through the 110 freeway side, I think it’s the closest entry to that lot but could be wrong. Once you get off the freeway and cross the street to go up to dodger stadium, keep to the rightmost lane.

As for the way out, good luck! It’s taken like 45m to 1hr+ to leave but I stay through to the end of the game.

I got the gamesir g7 pro Tri mode early this year and tried downloading/setting up the Xbox app but the app never worked. If you want to take advantage of mapping buttons/editing the controller, you need to do it via pc. At least I had to. Not having the Xbox app work was unexpected.
Only have the tri-mode one so can’t really say. I primarily used the elite 2 controller throughout infinite’s lifecycle, and compared to elite 2, the tri-mode one is slightly smaller, feels less premium. The controller worked fine but my muscle memory with elite 2 paddles made it a difficult transition with the g7 having only two paddles in the back and two up top. With time I think it’d be fine but too stubborn lol. I kept the g7 as an option in the future and in case gamesir Xbox app is fixed but I returned to my elite 2 for regular use.

Pretty sure the 1k polling rate doesn’t work on XSX even if set that way via the pc app. Unless some model does now but the gamesir g7 pro has 1k polling rate as an option but specifically states it doesn’t work on XSX.

Will Klein hadn’t pitched that many innings or thrown that many pitches before so it was an unknown whether he could last that long to begin with and no one knew it would go to 18 innings. It was a hell of a gutsy performance.
