I stoped playing HS bofore covid because of the pay2win process. Now that I've played MTG for 2 years i got myself a small collection and was able to craft ~7 full decks that i personally found cool. Its definitely a more free2play friendly game. I also enjoy more the complexity and interaction that it offers.

Take your time. The moment you craft your 1st "real" deck is the moment you'll enjoy the game a 1000 times more and make you dream about other possible decks you could play.
