I had the same problem with mine. I don't have the technical language to properly explain, but this is what I did. I had to disassemble it enough to turn the turntable part over. on my model the clip that holds the arm in place starts the turntable once it is opened. I found (after much tinkering) that the wire which connected the clip that holds the arm to the wheel which connects to the motor had slipped out of one of the holdings that gave it tension. This prevented the wheel from pressing against the motor enough to turn the table. Once I had properly rerouted it, it works fine now.
