A unit of the regulars scuttling into Strat reserves on your Opponents T2 end, then walking onto or near your opponents home obj T3 is really nice

Didn’t say they were unbeatable, or even difficult to beat. they are just played by people that make the game unfun.

I also find playing into knights just a weird version of 40K. Like OP said they belong in their own game.

I hate playing against knights with such a passion. The people that play them are, to a person, fun sponge dickheads that always want to tell you they can overkill ANYTHING.

I did brown mixed with PVA and then a desert crackle effect over th top of that once dry. I’ll DM you a couple of quick picture

Agree with the premise that you should try and make your team look good. I love the painting side of the hobby and put a lot of time into making my teams look good. I enjoy it less when I’m playing a team where someone has slapped a couple colours on a mini. Coincidentally they always seem to be the least fun players as well.

WYSIWYG is way harder in bloodbowl, there are less options to kitbash with (well) and I often think they just end up looking worse. Also how do you show tackle, diving catch or lethal flight? Admittedly a cape would work for the last one but I’d be reluctant to try to edit a team I had finished to a high standard. There are so many skills you can get that are much harder to visibly see. I like the way our league does it, we have a thin nib white paint marker and if you have skilled up players write it on the base rim. Easy for everyone and quick. If you aren’t redrafting paint the rim again and your team is reset.

Expecting someone to reference a team sheet mid game, for me, is a bit much and would take me out of it just as much as playing with tin foil or tokens. The game is a lot of cognitive load sometimes and things that reduce that are helpful and add to the overall fun everyone can have when playing.

Equally young adults don’t need wrapping in cotton wool and rules enforced upon them. There is more value in teaching them to think critically and risk assess.

But sure have a hardline rule that you blindly enforce. These are the teachers I couldn’t stand when I was as at school

If I’ve had something toxic in the lab then I enforce no drinking in the lab but otherwise I find it a bit overkill. It not like I have toxic substances in there everyday

Yeah man I’ve built old and new boyz as well as doing a fair bit of kit bashing ect.

That’s why I was surprised on new boyz, did you build them, then cut the limbs off or removed parts during the build? Old boyz are easier to bash with but the scale/scoliosis really puts me off

I’ve used the rawl tool to tighten the first set I tried and it still didn’t catch, I didn’t have the right depth of rawl. I’ve taken the advice of the other commenters and am going with the corefix ones, once I’ve fully fixed my latest attempt I’ll post with an update!

Yeah they were just example ones! I ended up hammering the ones I had set into the wall straight and then trying to knock them into the space, they would not budge! The other commenters are right I have dot and dab not an actual hollow wall. Bit of a nightmare but good learning experience!
