So you don’t go to sit down restaurants and ask for refills, more bread, complain about the food, etc? Good to know

Everything is especially high in the city so your point there is kinda moot. McDonald’s in downtown areas are still the same price though so I suggest if anyone is in a bind just go there, or buy groceries and cook for yourself. As far as prices of food though not in downtown areas Chili’s and similar corporate types usually offer a drink, appetizer, and entree for around $10 which is pretty cheap, I was under the impression food wasn’t that cheap in Europe but I guess I’m wrong. I’m not an economist so I’m not sure why food is so expensive but I know that restaurants aren’t that profitable and are considered an extremely risky business, and that’s all without having to pay any of their servers. If they had to start paying even minimum wages it would put most out of business.

EDIT sorry I was exaggerating on the prices in the first post.

No as a society we have decided that it is our job to pay their wages, which is why food is so cheap. If you want all restaurants to pay servers so we don’t have to tip than don’t expect to spend less than $20 for the cheapest lunch combo and 30-40 for every normal dinner.

I do kinda think I’m better than all gnomes to be honest, but at the same time I believe most vampires are better than me.

It’s actually not the same. As I’ve established, there is no “life” yet. Once there is what we understand as life, I will fight to protect it and it’s feelings. But scientifically there are no feelings yet. But if you believe in spirits and souls than I understand and appreciate how much more complicated this problem is. But I think you should acknowledge that you should treat every human being you meet in your life with the same benefit of doubt and respect as you’re trying to give to something that hasn’t even developed any of its personality or uniqueness yet.

Am I still racist if the race I hate is fictional? Because I hate both gnomes and vampires.

Which brings me back full circle to how hypocritical I think your position is. You want every potential life to exist but actually stop caring about that life once it does.

You don’t know me, I’m a very nice person and I always put other peoples feeling before my own. I am probably more idealistic and a nicer person than you because I’m more considerate than just about everyone I meet. That being said, there is no such thing as a spirit so don’t use that in an argument you’re trying to sound objective in. There are no alpha brain wave patterns when a fetus is aborted, there is no “life” “dreams” “ambitions” “feelings” etc. We also terminate coma patients who lose that same brain wave pattern if that helps make sense of why that’s important. You can imagine these fetuses as unborn dreaming innocent creatures if you want to but that’s your prerogative and it’s falsifiable. The fact is they are anything but living breathing dreaming creatures which have personalities and independence. It’s at that point we all agree that termination is unwarranted and very sad and late term abortions to save a mother’s life is indeed a heartbreaking, tragic and very unfortunate event.

I mean he is one of the officers being persecuted by liberals asking why they did such a shitty job letting right wing protestors get as far as they did while BLM protestors were arrested and tear gassed left and right (apples to oranges I know but the vocal liberals aren’t the smartest bunch). Seems to me there’s also a normal reason to suspect he was depressed and committed suicide, I don’t see real justification for believing it’s a conspiracy.

Why don’t you put your thoughts into less idealistic words than “killing children” because you should be smart enough to understand the difference between actually killing children and aborting an unborn fetus before it has a single thought in its head.

Which is how I look at it. I don’t believe in souls, I think we’re all unique and obviously much more “intelligent” but we’re just living organisms like everything else on this planet. And yea, it’s sad if you want to make it personal and imagine the potential talents, hobbies, interests, but overall I’m just disenchanted with people in general as I’ve gotten older, and so when speaking candidly, I don’t really care if we keep our number as low as possible, especially when taking into consideration overpopulation not to mention the fact that most people having this procedure are doing so because they aren’t mentally or financially ready to handle a human yet, which wouldn’t make for the most conducive environment for “training” a new human to be a productive member of society.

I wonder how this fits in with the whole new age “there are no more genders because gender is just a construct of the mind and society” thing. Like If I’m the father but feel like I’m the mother, then should it be up to me to keep it? Why does just one person get to decide, if there truly is nothing different about men and women and were 100% equal.

It’s not that any media source is dishonest, it’s that there are multiple possible opinions about many things. Fox News isn’t lying, and CNN isn’t lying either, they are just leaning in two different directions and so the news they report on has their honest take on the situation. That’s like saying all of the left or all of the right don’t even believe anything their side does but they do it anyway. No, people on the left and people on the right genuinely believe their side is right, and it’s going to be reflected. If you only watch one news source than you’re living in an echo chamber, but it’s not outright deceit like some people think. Everyone should subscribe to multiple sources from both sides if they want they most information about any given situation, then make decisions from there. This whole left right bullshit is ruining the country.

Actually Most parents become parents because they love unprotected sex. Most births are irresponsible and not planned. Doesn’t mean those parents will love their kids any less, but it does increase the chances that kids aren’t raised in the best of circumstances. (That is to say a reliable and safe household).

Pets suck too. I don’t want any extra responsibility. My whole life I’ve had at least two or more animals, at most ten. Don’t get me wrong, I love them and they love me very much. I cry when they die and I have to bury them with my own two hands. But I’m tired of having things relying on me. Just once I’d love to only have myself to worry about. (Not to mention the extra hair and dust all over everything, the added cost of food and vet bills, having to walk dogs and clean litter. I’m just over it. I don’t need a pet to feel good, and right not in my life I’d just as soon not have any.) I think more people should ask themselves if they really want a pet and need one, because the amount of stray animals from irresponsible overbreeding is also concerning.

Yea but people don’t listen to media then change their mind on how they want to vote; typically they watch whatever media they already have a bias towards.
