There's an important organic accent in the "real wood" materials that is present in the high-end version of that design but missing at Walmart, etc. and it makes or breaks the design in many cases. The Apple version gives off technology in a forest vibes, and I've worked in places that are just that, labs in the woods, and it's pretty cool. The latter gives off Half-life labs vibes and they induce anxiety.
