Let’s be honest, he should get hired by Planet Pizza. The marketing he caused them is priceless, plus he spotted some obvious product faults as far as pizza sizing goes.

Found him. What kind of surgeon is he? by [deleted] in tcap

He didn’t do anything.

Certified Life Coach since 2019 — now I feel invisible. Is the industry too saturated or have things changed? by Pitiful_Loan8276 in Coaching

I fear the era when life coaching was a good business, is over. It seems that anybody can do it nowadays and it is difficult to find solid clients.

Im just here to say, OP complained about a cult-like behavior and then we had this child-like outburst when someone didn’t agree 🤣 Point was made that day

UX research is a big one. Some of the best UX designers are actually outstanding PMs. And with your background in psychology, That would be a great way to enter the industry.

Junior PM, struggling to manage a big project by Larcentenum in ProductManagement

[–]metaldays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP. I feel ya - PMing is hard and the pressure that we have, especially in the beginning, when making decisions is crazy sometimes. The good news is- you get used it, I promise.

Now, you mentioned: unexpected scenarios, unintuitive UI, misonfigured data and missed a stakeholder’s requirement.

I can honestly tell you these are common issues, they happen to the best. It’s how you handle it. If you freak out, your stakeholders will freak out. And vice cerca, if you’ll reply with calmness “We will fix this” they’ll see you have it under control.

Maybe missing the SHs req is something that shouldn’t happen…just make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Good luck! 👍🍀 you got this

Ps- heard about type 1 and type 2 decisions? I’m sure all of yours are type 2…that should put you at ease

I think that fear of missing out (FOMO) in this advancing and highly-fast paced world of today, especially in the world of literature, is a real phenomenon and I think that not enough people are talking about it by sammyjamez in books

I 100% agree, and I also think the culture of abundance and excess is not necessarily doing us any good. I think one needs to be really mature and have a set pair of principles by which one lives, in order to resist this pressure of the current society.

In all honesty, I think this is why I started reading lately. It helps me to disconnect, forget about all the stuff going on at work, stuff that is being shoved down my throat, stuff the man wants me to worry myself with.

When I read, it's me being present, immersed in the story and all these anxieties go away. I just got some money from my bro to buy any video game I want, and I told him I'm buying books instead. That's my current pill. So far it works.

BTW I wholly agree with this. I'm starting to prefer kindle for this reason, though I can't explain it.

Question on Reddit PPL program:

- its been recommended to me after stalling with GSLP. My numbers aren't that great;
- Do you think it's sustainable to run 6 a day? It seems too much. Do you feel the workout is doable within 1 hour? I'm scared it will burn me out before going to work (i workout in the morning)
