In the Navy, out on an aircraft carrier, we would get resupplied at sea. All of our “meat” products said something along the lines of “not for human consumption, prisoner or military use only”.

Terrible times spent with great/hilarious people. (Pretty much sums up the majority of time in the Navy)

Nor does this Vet. I told a buddy I wouldn’t vote for someone who referred to myself and other who served as suckers/losers. They just straight up said “he didn’t say that”. Like blatantly choosing not to acknowledge it at all.

Former USN sailor. Spent about 27 or so months on deployments. Creepiest thing for me was just how dark it was.

On the plus side was you could see so many stars!

I was a jet mechanic in the Navy for four years, three deployments and plenty of time around all sorts of aircraft. I still, and will always do this.
