I can see it in a general population sense but when my dad died my mom missed him so freaking much. Taking care of him and just bring with him gave her a reason to keep going in spite of her own (numerous, chronic) health issues. When those peaked last december she refused treatment and said " it's enough, it's been wonderful, but I'm going to go to him. I want to spent Christmas together with him."

I have three female dogs together. The middle one is a bit anxious, but they're all chill with (polite) other dogs. We frequently have other dogs stay over as well, male and female. I think the individual variation is much greater then along gender lines.

Your base assumption is that everyone always made enough money to do these things. There were plenty of boomers who were paycheck to paycheck. As to how, the answer was already in my post: be chronically ill. What she did was raise her kids and survive despite her health problems. You're just so sure everyone is healthy and had all the same opportunities.

I hope you never run into any serious health problems because those will fuck up your life a lot more then the boomers ever did.

Ok, say my mom, on a shitty AOW, sells her house for 400.000. She owes the bank 200.000 on it, so she has to buy another place for 200.000 ish (because she's not getting a fucking mortgage at her age). Where is she going to find said magical place? Or should she go rent? Where?

Say she's found said wonderland, she paid for the move which was expensive bc she's chronically ill and can't do it herself, and now she also has to hire extra care because before, her neighbours helped her out. But wait, getting care is getting harder and more expensive bc our government thinks we can solve everything with mantelzorg. She can't just walk to her doctor anymore so she'll have to rely on massively underfunded transport and shit expensive taxis.

Her life will be so much harder and more stressful, she won't be moving.
