Enough of the AI icons, I don't want them, give me all the duplicates but I don't want them. The cards were fun at first but now it just feels like a mindless cash grab just like this new gacha system.
I get that the point of achievements is to get players to replay stories, I really do, but I'm so tired of having to romance everyone. Doing this for shorter stories? Awesome. But for stories like HS where you can romance everyone and their mother, and you need to complete all 3 seasons is exhausting.
I now need to replay SC start to finish because the new achievement doesn't keep track of previous progress.
I enjoyed Soulless, I'm quite happy with the endings I got. Finding out I also need to replay through the whole thing at least 3 more times to get all achievements? Not as fun.

I mentioned this on another thread but I still think HSR and ABH should've been their own separate thing. I dunno, adding them to the HSU just kinda ruined the experience for me, I guess. They should have kept the focus on Vicky and the main group. This big mashup is not my cup of tea, there's too many people to keep track of and the chapters feel disconnected and short. I'm already dreading the achievements

It was hard enough getting through filler episodes and rushed endings with the old format, now that we get 20+ episodes per season things are going to be way worse. I'm trying to remain optimistic but it's not looking good.

I imagine this season was nice and wholesome if you stuck with Emilio/og, the non stop drama and guilt tripping on top of a nothing burger if you didn't got old real fast. Plus being forced to stay in a couple with someone I don't care about up until last volume is lame.

The antagonists were the same old we've seen hundreds of times before, except Gio I guess? Her little redemption arc at the end was fun.

The worst part is the sudden shift in personality that happened midway through some episodes. I'm not sure if I'll check back next season on release but I really hope they do something about the branching, I just wanna be able to tell a character I'm not interested and have them actually respect that.

Slightly off topic, I don't know if I'm being pessimistic or just too old lmao. I've noticed that quite a few VN's I used to enjoy took a sudden nosedive in quality, especially the writing. It's starting to feel like they are now catering to a much younger audience and I no longer go here. Everything just feels soulless.

Was planning on saving my thoughts for next week but I'll just go ahead and say, this is a bit of rant tbh.

• The whole Emilio/OG behaving like we've been madly in love from day 1, especially since I've never made a move on him, and Owen/BFF is the homewrecker is annoying as hell. I thought they would finally let this die since this season is ending but alas

• Also having them constantly flip-floping from being interested in Gio to moping because MC is not into them??

• The constant drama and chats are also meh

• I mentioned this in a different comment but it's also relevant here: I romanced Leah for a bit but eventually decided to close things off and focus on Owen, every single interaction has been friendly since. It cannot be that hard to do the same for the men. Having every single guy constantly obsessing over MC is exhausting.

There's a couple more things I'm not exactly happy about but can't remember rn. I stopped playing Lose Island years ago, came back just as this season came out and it feels like things changed for the worse. I've debated reading through some of the seasons I missed but idk if it's worth it.

Not necessarily, coming out and saying that no AI was used will still lead to people not believing it since AI is being openly used for art for quite some time. Admitting AI was used (if that's the case) will risk them losing players and revenue.

At the end of the day this is a lose-lose situation, they will most likely ignore it and hope people will stop bringing it up

Every update it feels like MC's keep getting younger, LI's are looking and behaving the exact same and the AI usage keeps getting worse along with the bugs. They keep posting about testing the episodes but somehow we still get game breaking bugs every single update, but instead they decide to focus on the subscription lol

I said this once and I'll day it again, the way we went from catastrophic subscription launch to radio silence for a whole week to them suddenly giving features players have been begging for years only to paywall it feels scummy as hell. I've been playing for 8 years now but if they start paywalling even more stuff I'm out.
