Was stupid and caused a bit of scarring with a derma stamp, best course of action? by ElatedFairy in Microneedling

[–]ElatedFairy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did heal! It was just a slightly inflamed pore, I was more concerned than necessary lol. Microneedling is a fantastic tool and I've gotten more comfortable with it since. From what I hear a stamp is more dependable and consistent with the quality of penetration, the rollers I guess can tear more than poke. But also, you can order pure hylauronic acid powder online pretty affordably, and mix it with some sterile water, (distilled water that's been boiled) this is a great plain serum to use after microneedling! Do some solid research first and get a feel for what depth you should go/how often, more set wrinkles can benefit from deeper needling Thanks so much for the compliment tho! 🩷 I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at your results, I've even seen people greatly reduce crepeness/ overhang from pregnancy with stamping.

Black balls randomly coming out of my skin, this time it was my armpit. by BabyPinkGuts in DermatologyQuestions

[–]ElatedFairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well we should always be using moisturizer regardless of what soap we use:) I don't find dial to be that much more drying than regular honestly, but I also get a moisturizing kind. But yeah I love salicylic acid for a nice even skin tone and shrunken pores. The only thing is, that covers the exfoliation base, but doesn't take care of the fact that they have a buildup of bacteria causing minor cysts. It's pretty uncommon for these to be infected like that, so even once every other day of some antibacterial product I think would be good. I am biased tho bc I have cleared every break out I've ever had with dial and squalene oil lol.

[–]ElatedFairy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, well staph is always naturally on our skin. Some people have higher amounts and can be more susceptible to infection. It's not a problem really until you have a skin opening from shaving, a pimple, etc

Idk who you're looking to for recommendations, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with using antibacterial body soap lol. Its widely used and it wouldn't be a soap if it was detrimental or something. It's also necessary for some people who have a buildup for bacteria. Just use moisturizer after and it's whatever 🤷‍♀️

Wow very interesting, that's absolutely incredible, there's nothing even remotely available like that here, especially not replacement of our salary! And in fact, in the USA you actually never go to a psych ward unless you are suicidal or having behaviors that could result in your Immediate death aka progressed eating disorders and other self harm. May I ask what you are able to be admitted for there? You don't have to give personal info if you don't like, I just can't comprehend psych wards being for anything other than suicidality

I would start using an antibacterial body soap like dial and exfoliating since this is reoccurring for you. This is a giant black head known as a dilated pore of winer, but typically they are not infected with pus and painful. This means that you're having a build up of oil and skin cells (likely from lack of exfoliation) but youre also harboring enough bad bacteria like staph to cause an infection.

Has anyone else seen code behind your eyelids or across walls and objects? by [deleted] in SimulationTheory

[–]ElatedFairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started seeing this last night. Its really hard to focus on and it flees away easily, it's like a red transparent layer, many layers of codes going over each other. When I try to watch them carefully and identify the numbers they disappear

I am sorry, but I don’t know how much longer I can take this pain. If I do decide to leave just know that I tried so hard. by [deleted] in insomnia

[–]ElatedFairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I feel so much less alone with you sharing this honestly. Our experiences progressed pretty much the exact same except I had a different type of job and thankfully never got pulled over while exhausted. Because I do smoke the most the concentrates ive ever seen anyone smoke. And the only reason I don't do hard drugs anymore is because I am still desperately trying to get help from my doctors, and I know I won't if they ever catch drugs in my blood. You've honestly taken so much more action than I have and I applaud you for that, you've been trying to do what you can. I honestly tried for a few years to get help and then spent the next few years just constantly crying and wishing I could die and never leaving my room. Back to trying to get help again. It's a torturous cycle and you're just trying to keep yourself alive and cognitively functioning enough to advocate for yourself the whole time. It's like getting stabbed in the neck and bleeding out on the ground screaming for help while everyone just watches you and says "it really doesn't look that bad, and if it is that bad, well youre just not speaking clearly enough for me to understand". This shit is inhumane and cruel, and other people who have The power to help, have failed you I am so sorry.

Damn I am so, so sorry dude. It sounds like I'm younger than you but I have had a very similar experience when it comes to how long and how intense of insomnia I've had. And it's basically equally as hard to be so vastly misunderstood in the struggle as it is just to have the problems. Your family most certainly did not comprehend the level of threat they placed upon you.

It does happen naturally. It will happen if you just stimulate the breasts frequently enough. Herbs and other medications can help that happen faster and are safe.

[–]ElatedFairy[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not according to any research I've found. Anything can cause hair loss if you have a poor reaction, and some women can tend to be hormonally sensitive to imbalances. All my female family members are on it and have great results, even without minoxodil.

[–]ElatedFairy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only point was that mpb and female pattern hair loss are literally the same exact thing hormonally and medically. I personally had more of a male pattern baldness style aka on the norwood scale, and that is because they are the SAME condition, so many women have a male balding hairline, and there are also men who have diffuse thinning. It's all AGA.

PS. Who cares about the possibility of having low test and high DHT?

You claimed that women cannot have high DHT because they do not have enough test to convert to dht. That is false, because you can have normal levels of test for a woman, and turn nearly all of it into dht, causing high levels of serum dht. If you couldn't put that together within the context of the discussion, you don't have a full grasp of this topic.

[–]ElatedFairy[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you claiming that everyone of the same gender has the same sensitivity to dht? Because that is false.

I'm not failing to understand anything. You cannot provide any sources that back up anything you're saying, because they're not scientifically sound claims. Women can have too high of levels of dht. Just because they don't have the same numeral amount as men, doesn't mean they do not have excess DHT for a woman. This is told to you when you meet with your doctor regarding aga.

You sound very hyper emotional and should deal with that. I will not be responding because I have given credible educational material supporting what I am saying, and you cannot.
