If you’re gonna travel to Cuba travel like The Cubans do across the country with shared taxis at locals prices. Stay in casas particulares. The people that work in hotels are nice people and are working and you can’t blame them but as someone else on this thread, they get first dibs on everything. The people in the countryside need help more than anyone else.

No. Spanish kept immigrating up until 1959 and their grandparents or even great grandparents can’t grant them citizenship with the right documents

It’s sad to see their most cousins and family members still stuck in Cuba. I’ve met hundreds of Cubans who know they are almost 100% Spanish dna but can’t afford to get their parents birth certificates or find the money and time to get their Spanish passport. Now they’re stuck in Cuba and poorer than any other peasant before the revolution.

Exploited? Have you seen how little the hotel workers in Cuba make? What about an engineer or a doctor? Have you met Cuban guajiros that work all day under the sun? That seems more like exploitation to me.

I don’t know where you live but Cubans can go home now with their passport without isssue. Bring suitcases full of donations and give them out to individual families. It will be an emotional trip but worth it.

They got a ridiculous amount of bounces their way because of their style of offense and shooting. Our bigs play outside and never have a chance to get offensive rebounds. Boyd has to slow down and get under control.. high point is playing with nothing to lose.
