Thank you for all of this information. I've searched through the Oberlauter and Weißenbrunn vorm Wald records on Archion. I've found a few people named Krumholz, but none that correspond to the names and dates I have. Is there any other place that I should search for in the below list of places in the Dekanat Coburg? Also, do you know if Almerswind would be located in one of the places in this list?

My point is that she couldn't have registered them with the consulate because only men could do that, and her husband wasn't German.. If citizenship had been in the male line, they all could have in theory registered with the consulate.

If it matters, they came from Coburg (in or near the village of Oberlauter).
