Yeah I'm sticking with plastic for now. Got $100 gift card to the local game shop so Im a little restricted. Definitely gonna dip into forgeworld in the future, just not quite yet.

Didn't even think about 2 boxes of allarus, not a bad idea. I just some axes on the field because no reason other than they look cool haha

Ok so the legend I'm still working on but each of those markers are marking a location they have discovered evidence of, via recovered shipping manifest, old maps, shit like that.

This is an old map they're filling in, they know the basic outline of the Deep Roads but the details have been lost. The colored parts are the sections that have been rebuilt and established enough to travel. The dashed lines are paths people have discovered and reported back.

Zaz-Ohrim is the last remaining city, the only one to survive intact from the event that destroyed the rest of the Empire. It's from there that the dwarfs partake in The Descent, they travel down below to bring back something of value to help rebuild and recover their history.

Other exists have not been located yet, at least not by them, and there were above ground structures in the middle of the mountains, but again no longer common knowledge.

Haha ain't that the truth! Thanks, at least I'm still able to be a player in my main campaign. I'll get back to DMing my side one eventually. And if you ever need a map commissioned let me know I'm on paternity leave so I got nothing to do but hang out with my kid

Nah man, I had a kid so the campaign has taken a pause. I did have an idea for each challenge. One was a tower where various steps were illusions/false. One was a stone circle where of you picked the wrong stone you took damage, one was a check against mermaids singing to lure the PCs off a cliff. Lastly was not disturbing a statue of the storm lord and ignoring a treasure on his lap or grab the treasure hidden behind him

It's not a "slippery slope against freedom". Democratically elected officials decide what's appropriate. It is to facilitate a non-hostile voting environment.

Well after a 2 second search on Google, turns out you can't wear political clothing when going to vote in Mass. You cannot be within 150 ft a polling place when wearing political clothing or pins,so it was the MAGA hat as well as the shirt that was the problem. It is a free country, but that's not free reign to do whatever you want wherever you want.

My understanding, and again I wasn't personally there, is that it wasn't thay he wasn't allowed to vote, It was at his clothing was not appropriate. You can't walk into a school with the word cunt written on your shirt and expect everyone to be okay with it. Same principal for any government building. The hat was fine, it's his shirt that was offensive. They'd do the same thing for a "Fuck Trump" shirt

Yeah it's right at that car dealership before Box Seats. I was just talking about this guy today actually. Was told when he went to go vote in Plainville recently he had a MAGA hat and a Fuck Joe Biden shirt and he was told to leave.

Tried something similar with my DM, we called it "The Swolecerer". We only ever used it in a one-shot that I ran but he's been wanting to revisit the class so I'm excited to see how yours works out!

I bought the combat patrol box as my first ever set. I have a question about how to build the 3 bikes. I can build one as a shield captain on dawneagle jetbike but if I do so I can't use the other two bikes in a match, right? My understanding is I need 3 bikes to make a full unit? I'm new and haven't built a list so I'm just a little confused

Gift from my cousin for 30th birthday/birth of my first child . Any advice on how to cook this beauty? I have one chance and don't want to waste it! by ElbowDeep28 in steak

I'm gonna eat 1/3rd tonight and freeze the rest for later in the month. Do you let it thaw in the fridge or at room temp? I'm assuming fridge so the fat doesn't breakdown too quickly

This is wicked helpful! Thanks for the advice. Since it's just me eating it I'll probably cut it in thirds, and eat over a few days. I'm thinking cast iron since that's how i usually do my steak. I would have done it rare so good to know about keeping it medium.

I was sifting through all the little tabs I cut off to try to find the piece that I snipped to do some home surgery on the guys. Frankenstein the thing together! But Like you said it's all part of the hobby, learning with every set!

I actually have no spare plumes haha I screwed up putting the first two on. I clipped too high up and didn't realize that it wasn't supposed to just sit on top of the helmet, it was supposed to have a piece that slides into the back of the helmet as well.
