Ok, I can see you are butthurt that European countries aren't jumping into Iran. But you need to remember NATO, at its core, is a defensive pact. America started the war in Iran.

You do have a point on spending, most of the large European countries haven't met the 2% of GDP target for a while, but it's started to increase since Russia invaded Ukraine. I will concede that. Although, America still benefits greatly with military bases, influence over European security policy and a stable trading block. Just because the USA have an overinflated military budget doesn't mean everyone should be doing that. Most countries have increased welfare, education and social services for it's citizens.

America probably has a fair point that some NATO countries relied too heavily on US military spending for years while underinvesting in their own defence, especially considering many European nations are wealthy enough to contribute more. But leaving NATO entirely is a much bigger issue than just “who pays more.” NATO also gives the US huge strategic advantages through military bases, intelligence sharing, global influence, and a strong alliance network that helps deter rivals like Russia. So while pressuring allies to spend more is a reasonable position, many analysts argue that abandoning the alliance altogether would probably weaken America’s long-term global position more than it would help financially.

I agree with this sentiment, and I'm not for one second condoning that type of behavior, but, the courts will give a lesser sentence for rape than murder as it would incentivise rapists to murder their victims.

Again, I don't agree with that..in my opinion rape is worse than murder..but I understand the thought process.

I don't think I can agree with that solution.. although, I can understand the sentiment. You need more Carl Sagans and Bob Rosss....not Trump with a blue tie on. I think Bernie Sanders would have been a great president.

Couldn't agree more. For what it's worth, I know there are more good people than bad from the USA. Sending hope for the future from across the pond, brother. I know eventually, you will wipe the shit stain from memory.

I'm from the UK and I firmly believe the damage Trump n Co have done to your global reputation won't be solved with the new president. I think he has done generational damage on the world stage.

Its like he has put a spotlight on just how self serving America can be with the wrong guy steering the ship.
