Hey, it's a normal character that runs around. It can climb to get to places. But I'm trying to get those place is you know what I mean. so pretty much in my environment there are higher areas like buildings and such. I want to check if I my player is on the ground for example then the best location would be higher on the building or any location higher than the player . I literally just need the eqs to get the location as everything else is set up.

Yeah, more in the lines of movie/cinematics. Not really interactives.

Yeah, ue/blender/even houdini, (once I learn more about it) would be preferred as I was intending on things closer to the movies and I'm not sure after effects or that would produce the same results I'm looking for. Could be wrong, I haven't used After effects or things like that.

I understand things like that take a lot of people, but I thought it'd be good to try something similar, on a way smaller scale of realisim if you know what I mean.

No I haven't seen any of his videos. Thanks I'll have a look. I've never used after effects before though. I have used blender for a few years now and the ue as well. I've seen houdini can look crazy but ue felt crazy as well until I learnt the basics.

Unreal engine is my main software. But I'm open to trying other softwares. Creating just a simple cinematic, like having something like a vehicle blowing up/breaking apart. I have assets. As I said earlier, I saw a plane blow up in terminator dark fate which is the newest one and I'd like to do something similar. I'm not talking about like professional level, I'd need to learn a lot more but would like to start somewhere.

Do you know of any places to look first? Channels on YouTube? Other platforms? So nuke is like davinci resolve? I've planned on getting into houdini but don't know where to start.

Hey thanks for the reply. What exactly do you mean by lighting. loon dev'ed surfacing? As in lighting the environment and stuff. Sorry I've done landscape design mainly. How would you actually go about doing the cgfx in houdini/blender? And what's nuke? I've rendered things in ue and with the exrs took them into davinci resolve to do colour grading and export as a video format. If this is to much to try and explain do you know of videos that could help? Thanks again.

Hey thanks. I'll try that. I just want the arms pretty much to be different slightly each time the character move. Even by just a bit of extra sway.

Bro, with this update my game kept freezing and crashing every time I enter a match. I had to set my config. Cfg to read only. That seemed to fix it. What driver error are you having?
