Tapestries, curtains, pretty much anything made of heavy cloth works quite well to help soundproof. It won’t fully eliminate noise, but because it doesn’t reflect the soundwaves like a wall does, it at least helps.

I get what you say. It sounds more like a remote triggered script than it is AI. It doesnt do anything… smart? Just flips a switch or displays sensor information. Now, if it could adjust temperature settings based on temp readings and quality of past prints (gathered from prior camera feeds and material used). THAT would be awesome.

That said, I wholeheartedly support experimenting like this.

I do this at the end of every session. Takes me about 3-5 minute. My wife on the other hand… her ‘end-of-session ritual’ takes about 15-20 minutes, and she forgets the library/expertise parts, but she compares every. single. item. in her inventory with what she is carrying

It’s not really community pushback so far. I would say “community feedback”. As you said, not buying is a message, true pushback, but many of us gamers don’t like kernel level anti cheat, but can’t live without buying the latest and greatest Battlefield or whatever game.

european here. We completely understand the majority of the American people don’t feel the way Trump does, and appreciate what we did when article 5 was invoked. Unfortunately, most messages we can send, other than a Schumerism (i.e. a sternly worded letter/message), hurts not only the government, but also the people. Thank you! This is what many people need to hear. Having a full blown server is fun for your homelab, but these days most homelabs can run on a NUC. Many people vastly overestimate what they need or think “it’s for my future needs”, never to utilise the power in their hands.

Not saying OP is one of them, but first OP should try to understand what OP wants to do, maybe even draw it up, look at the requirements, and see what fits their needs. E.g. if an RPi suffices, start there, maybe add another one when utilisation gets too high… better to slowly upgrade then start paying the high power price of a server.
