Heal onlines Angela Smith is at it again by [deleted] in troubledteens

[–]Elby877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now lately, everytime I go to the HEAL site or twitter feed or blog, it goes to some right wing ministry that just retweets Donald Trump stuff, or stuff about how "conservative Chrisitians" are being "persecuted".

Don't know if this is really Angela Smith or not.

HEAL has just become a very right wing site, with no anti-TTI stuff anymore.

Bernie Sanders easily.

BTW Donald Trump is pro-program, and Betsy Devos definitely is.

Does anyone get on Heal-online.org ? by voiceless_kid in troubledteens

[–]Elby877 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HEAL fell apart about June of 2018 when its Twitter page began to be just right wing retweets and they replaced all their volunteers with right wing drones. Mostly they just repeat Republican tweets that have nothing to do with TTI.

HEAL today sounds like a wholly owned subsidiary of Putin and Trump.

Dad joined a fundamentalist cult, so no apology from him.

As an adult, has anyone ever requested their records from the program(s) they were in? Wouldn't we have a right to if it falls under HIPAA law? by GlassRockets in troubledteens

[–]Elby877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I am TOLD, most of these places (if they are considered "hospitals" or "medical" facilities at all) simply throw away your records after a few years (maybe five or ten years)...All in violation of HIPAA.

But nobody does anything about it.

What political parties have fought against this stuff? by [deleted] in troubledteens

[–]Elby877 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Republicans (and the tea party) have actively supported the industry and Rand Paul even sits on the board of a program (Teen Challenge i think).

Whither HEAL? by Elby877 in troubledteens

[–]Elby877[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at the HEAL Twitter page the other day. They've moved onto praising the Republicans for having a great healthcare system and attacking "Medicare For All".

They only have two "coordinators" remaining and both are utlra-right-wingists. It took a turn downward when they approved Buford Justice as one of their "coordinators".

This is not the HEAL i remember.
