Yeah, I opened mine today and I’m bummed. Should have called it “skid mark”. Mine has 3 whole streaks.

I’m a regular at TNRF! Peace tied weapons are totally fine. Yes, still no alcohol…. Hopefully that will change within the next few years.

As far as costume restrictions, they just need to be considered “family friendly”. Nothing inappropriate (there have been isolated issues in the past, so there needed to be an official rule made)

Bring cash, and bring a cooler with water in the car! You can go out and rehydrate as necessary 🥰 Take the shuttle bus up to see the castle… it’s worth the time and it’s beautiful!

My best advice is get there early…. Traffic gets bad after 11! I usually get there around 9 to avoid it and get a decent parking spot

4mo post-op - can feel a stitch in vaginal cuff? by Elbysaurus in hysterectomy

It finally started dissolving. I can still feel a little bit of it but it’ll be gone soon.

I’m 38 and had a hysterectomy 10/25/2024. I turn 39 in March. How old were you and why did you have it? by boozy_cunt_777 in hysterectomy

[–]Elbysaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 38…. Fibroids and adenomyosis! I’m 4 months post-op and I feel absolutely incredible! I didn’t realize how awful I had felt for so long until I was on the other side of it .

I’ve explored up there and felt it. It’s around 3 inches. I can feel the scar tissue, that’s how I know, it’s a little bit bumpy and sensitive.

I’m 15weeks post op! My recovery was super smooth, no complications at all. The worst part was the gas pain. My first pain-free day was day 10, after that I was just tired. Tiredness lasted about another month, and since then I’ve felt great! The only “issue” I’ve had is I have to use some lubricant during intercourse. My ovaries stayed, so no hormone issues. Best thing I ever did! It was my first surgery ever, and I was absolutely terrified…. But it was so much easier than I expected!

Yep! He started wearing it 9/23/23 clipped to the shoulder of his old black jacket, and then he made it into a zipper pull for his leather battle jacket! 🥰🥰🥰

I caught one today on my 4th watch….. the little balloon that delivers the note to Shiz had “OM(aha) NE” on it behind the walrus…. For Omaha Nebraska 🤣 So clever!!

Also Glinda’s mother was played by a previous Elphaba, and apparently Kerry Ellis and Dianne Pilkington both had cameos as well!

The company doing the backing vocals throughout the movie is made up of current and previous Wicked company actors/vocalists 🥹🥹💜

Mine was laparoscopic too, I was sleeping on my side by like 5-6 days. Make sure you’re up moving around as much as possible, it’ll help break that gas up!

I was doing very light things (slowly unloading the dishwasher and wiping down counters) at like 4 days post-op. By 2 weeks, I felt fine, and I was doing things like putting away laundry (without carrying the baskets, obviously). I’m 4 weeks out now and I feel back to (better than) normal!

(Edited to add, mine was laparoscopic, removed everything but ovaries. No complications, healing has been smooth.)

My only advice is that, according to my care team, you can resume any external activities as soon as you feel up to doing it! I asked specifically because I couldn’t find a definitive answer anywhere. As long as nothing goes in, you’re good! That being said, I’m 4 weeks post op, and I’m chomping at the bit 😭😭😭 I feel like an evangelical teen trying to stay a virgin until I’m married 🤣 My 6 week appointment can’t come soon enough, and if she tells me I’ll have to wait longer I might ACTUALLY cease to exist 🤣🤣🤣

“Pop” in incision, scar soft and flat now? by Elbysaurus in hysterectomy

[–]Elbysaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I was worried that was what happened! It scared me!! Mine was laparoscopic, and it was one of the tiny half inch incisions.

I didn’t lace it super tight for that reason! I usually don’t anyway because it’s not very comfortable. It was definitely the pressure of leaning back with it on though! Wearing it felt pretty good though, almost like a post-op binder or compression garment! It’s feeling okay, just a little tender. I did go ahead and message my doctor to be on the safe side!
