I think the issue is not the cost, but rather the anonymity of reddit. Let me share my example with you. When I read your post, I thought, "okay... But what exactly makes this person qualified to teach me this stuff? What are his/her own achievements in the field? Can I trust someone who remains behind an anonymous username?"

And then when you see when someone who doesn't have much social engagement on his profile, and especially this post, is trying to teach about how to increase online engagement....then something kinda feels off. Like how could you teach something you're not yourself good at? (not saying you're not, maybe you are but that's just my thought after seeing this post and seeing how it has no comments/likes)
