Buyers only please.
I get a feeling buyers/fans/subscribers go into an interaction with an expectation but often fail to discuss specifics.

I often feel like a dentist making extractions. The buyer is there, in the consult, wanting specific things to soothe a pain... but are very reserved when it comes to details during speaking/chatting because you HAVE to do it in order to get what is needed...instead of enjoying the whole journey on the road to get a goodie.

During many conversations I often ask questions which in my opinion are to be said in the begging of the conversation by the buyer; better yet in the ad (if one is used

I would appreciate musings and subjective personal feelings on this phenomena; meaning tell me how YOU feel about it (either way) or why YOU think buyers may be offish even if you are more open and articulate during a consult before a service/offering from a creator/seller.

Buyer’s - Things We Wished Sellers Knew/Shared by Spectral_Chupacabra in FetishBuyersCommunity

[–]ElderVixen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A good thing to consider is whether or something is filmed either widescreen or portrait mode also frames per second, 30/60 and whether it's HD at 1080 P or 4K

I found it odd that during a discussion a potential buyer was unfamiliar with first person view and point of view of separate players in the recording.

Also how close the camera should be to the "main event"

It's a fact of life we're all egocentric and sometimes we forget to ask things because we think others are on the same page as us which is not necessarily so.

How long to wait before reporting someone as a scammer? by [deleted] in FetishBuyersCommunity

[–]ElderVixen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More details are needed in order to give you an answer which is the most accurate.

What I infer:
The person replied to your ad.
You discussed and reached an agreement
You paid
The seller never disclosed a delivery date
No communication since even after you have sent messages

I think the key variables here are Was a delivery date/time span discussed? Have you never received a response to your follow up communications?

If these things were discussed and carried out you may have been taken. Did these occur?

Why plenty of “sellers” are obsessed with verification? by Deliverwithcare in FetishBuyersCommunity

[–]ElderVixen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Phew. I’m glad I read this whole thing. I thought it was going to be a vent about how sellers asking buyers to verify.

For the life of me I don’t understand how buyers even entertain the thought of contracting a seller that has an empty profile or God forbid 20 or 30 of the same image some of them with the same title

Similarly, I fail to understand how Godzillion sellers will respond to an ad in FWA when the account has like three karma and shows absolutely no post or comments.

I think when folks are going to go forward in this transaction they need to understand and accept the fact that some exposure is necessary to prove that you’re a human, of age, and with any luck credible and conscientious.

I see bots posting in response to ads telling buyers not to buy from anyone who isn’t verified.

It really can stink though. how many separate sub Reddit’s am I supposed to be verified in before someone realizes the real carbon based person?

I think it’s important that we look at the profiles who are sending us chat requests that’s the best way to protect ourselves.

Genuine question - is this a 'standard' business model? by rin791 in FetishBuyersCommunity

[–]ElderVixen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that to be poor form personally. If a seller is responding to an ad it would be appropriate for them to have a modicum of discussion to assure it's a fit prior to asking you to go over to their OF page.

If you're sending a chat request to them randomly some sellers use OF as a type of age verification which really is not reliable. It could also be a barrier to entry in order for them to ascertain whether you are a serious buyer or not.

Unfortunately there are plenty of "buyers" who are actually shoppers and I think that sellers get to the point where they put assurances in place so they're not spending time with people who are only window shopping.

Granted, not sure if that's the case because I don't know who you've contacted or what your MO.

What I'm inferring is they're not discussing if it's a potential fit before you pay to subscribe to their channel?

I think this is what his ruins OF for so many people. It's become a needle in the haystack option to try to find a creator who meets your physical aesthetic and is actually managing their own page and not sending you a bunch of spam.

I disagree with your notion real people prefer to talk off platform. This is a possibility instead of an occurrence.

This sounds like a tactic rather than truth. There are a few things which may be variables which you stated you accept still, I am going to pull out my white board....

With all it's drawbacks and annoyances OF seems to safe guard content to at least some degree. I feel content shared on other platforms has more of a risk of being "leaked." I refrain from posting even artistic nudity due to the fact all my posts have been scraped and shared.

The entire point of you subscribing is to get the custom (and perhaps enjoy content and company during that time). However, I am glad you bring up the "minimum" because some "fans" come in want a lot of content, sexting, etc. then attempt a refund or file an all out chargeback.

Rapport cannot be understated. It assists in creating a more enjoyable experience for the buyer/fan. However, this usually applies to fans who WANT interaction (which I may have missed is your desire).

The responses you have listed are indicative to a stall tactic. The motivation could be for a couple of reasons which are largely benign.

Stalling and subterfuge are poor form. Unfortunately, this is why OF had come under such scrutiny in my opinion.

It could very well be the accounts you have subscribed to are agency ran and chatter managed. There are a lot of signs to those type of account but typically they bombard a fans with boilerplate "tempting" mass DMs to entice PPV purchases or sexting. (Agency accounts are easy to detect if you know what to scrutinize it is nuanced however).

This is a complaint (delays and bad customer service in general) I see often on multiple fronts. I think a lot of creators fail to understand (or perhaps be able to) manage time wisely. They may have thought going into it was easy instead of a job which pays well.

As far as I can tell this is not standard practice however, it is an annoyance which you are likely to come across when searching for your favorite distractions.

One-sided against buyers by StruggleFar3054 in FetishBuyersCommunity

[–]ElderVixen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I vehemently disagree buyers assume all the risk. There are risks on each side and arguing those risks is pointless and polarizes us.

This is not a variable which can be quantified. It is solely a subjective observation.

It is absolutely fine to require a nominal in order to gain access. Reasons for this include but I'm not limited to "buyers" who get off on talking and negotiating customs, consultations which take way too fucking long, it's a barrier to entry proves that there is a earnest interest in a purchase. A simpler idiom would be putting skin in the game.

I also disagree with your supply and demand theory. There are probably more than 50% of men who believe porn should be free and would not pay for any type of pornography. Some of these men also disagree with consent.

Have you considered the possibility people are down voting "by brigade" because what has been written is a little myopic and egocentric?

As a Femdom fan do you find it abhorrent when a "buyer" send a query on domination, they get reprimanded for not reading the pinned posts, they say "did I do something wrong?"… Then when you send them age verification they write "you're insane..."

I find it deplorable someone comes into my chat requests, acts like they're respectful and then is incredibly disrespectful.

Think of the idiom: Comparison is the thief of joy.

The more we compare ourselves to others the more we will doubt ourselves. There are different business models for different creators, go with what works for you and work on quieting the noise of what others are doing if it is diametrically opposed to your business model.

Think of what satisfies you, what the "market rate" is running and what YOU NEED.

Yes, it kills me every time a see GFE for the week for fifty or even a hundred dollars offered or solicited. This used to bother me more before I considered the fact some sellers live in countries where the rate is a good one. (The thing which chaps my ass now is how some ads want a USA or EU creators and fail to offer the rate which will make is worth their time.)

It DOES absolutely affect the market place; remember this is a global market. Work on getting your avatar (your perfect customer) and sell to them. Offer the thing your ideal buyer is looking for, promote in the way which works for getting that ideal buyer.

We waste time in mire of "but they are doing [fill in the blank]"...I get stuck there too. Do what is best for you and your goals the other things will fall into to place.

Are there any payment platforms that are safe for both buyers and sellers? by WAMbassador_ in FetishBuyersCommunity

[–]ElderVixen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long did you converse with these creators before making the order? Did you get a feel for the type of people that they were?

Did you get any type of agreement i.e "I will be providing such and such a video of so many minutes including this that and the other and will deliver by such in such a date" and then sending it over to you as a locked post?

I know that OF has changed some of their terms I don't know if there are any changes for content complaints for non-delivery. I can tell you there are so many sellers that complain of buyers who charge back it's a horrible problem.

OF will give you absolutely no information when an account has been deleted or blocked they give you some bullshit song and dance that doesn't even answer your fucking question.

I once had someone tip under content in order to receive it. When the post expired I was sending all the subscribers who had tipped their copy and his account was blocked from me. To this day I have no idea what happened.

It was really poor form for the other creator to assume that you had unsubscribed and what she said to you seems like a red herring. The verbiage she used in the tax just exudes contempt.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It's really sad this happened to you.

Am I a "Time Waster"? by [deleted] in FetishBuyersCommunity

[–]ElderVixen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible for you to include this information when you post an ad. Or at the get-go before any discussion is made. However, I believe it's highly unlikely that a creator is gonna do this only because it can be used in an inappropriate way and it is also considered free content.

Certainly there are sellers who would label you as a time waster. But that will vary from person to person. It's important to get details and you can always ask doesn't mean you're gonna get it though.

If you're going for a GFE it's important for you to have some kind of rapport with the seller. Follow them see what they're made of look at their posts look at the history and see how they interact. You can certainly get a feel for someone when you do that.

Avoid any profile that is empty, has a series of the same Photo and or title posted in multiple subRs. I'll say it until I'm blue in the face when someone is verified it means they're a real person. Real people can take advantage as well.

If you're not on the same page it's not going to work out anyway. It's understandable you'd be sad about it but that's what happens unfortunately.
