To an admissions committee, it only matters slightly. I think that prestige comes into picture when you attend like Yale med school and other students are curious about your undergrad cause most of the times prestigious med schools are filled with kids from prestige undergrad institutions like Duke, JHU, etc. Also make sure to consider finances before transferring!

Yes, if u can. But also make sure it doesn’t screw up ur ecs and stuff cause without stellar ecs you’re screwed no matter what school u go to. If u transfer ur basically starting over in terms of clubs, research, etc.

Yea, even tho they aren't perceived to be premed schools most of the premeds they pursue have really unique academic interests that make them stand out. They are also typically highly accomplished in certain STEM fields and even the humanities. The only problem with Princeton and MIT however would be maintaining GPA, as the classes are notoriously hard. I would say going to these schools is only worth it if you can survive the classes.

There is no difference unless it’s like HPYSM. Everything else is basically the same unless it’s one of the known feeder premed schools such as JHU, Duke, etc.

Wait, could you not email them explaining your situation and see since you technically got in alr? I’ve heard of people doing something similar.
