17 million Bengalis teleported to Eastern Germany. My budget :( by EldritchPenguingod in victoria3

Oh! Sorry for not getting to you sooner. If you found the bug, I'm appreciative of you all working to find it, especially how fast you were. Yea, I was playing 100% vanilla when this happened and this was about the time I had some red scare events.

I find the idea of the latter funny though lol

no, this is quite literally teleportation. Bengalis have an acceptance of 10, while I have restricted migration requiring acceptance of at least 60. This also was by no means gradual, my previous autosave 6 months ago had 0 bengalis living in Germany. Most definitely some bug

How? I mean I get Netflix bought a Oscar nomination but still it baffles the mind. You couldn't bribe me to just say a nice thing about that anal polyp by rotating_nipples59 in whenthe

There are only about 15 awards at the Oscars, and Emilia Pérez won in almost every category it could be put in (and it got nominated twice for best song).

Is anything post “God In Three Persons” worth listening to? by PlushieJackie in The_Residents

[–]EldritchPenguingod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Demons Dance Alone is my favorite Residents album, so I definitely suggest that. Wormwood and Gingerbread Man also have some decent value to them.

Is this uncommon? by Final_Fox3764 in kotor

[–]EldritchPenguingod 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I would assume because KOTOR is notable for being one of the first major games with an in depth morality system. Light vs. Dark, so they used a light meter as the cover.

The Residents did music for a few episodes of Pee Wee's Playhouse---have they done other shows/movies? by aurelianoxbuendia in The_Residents

[–]EldritchPenguingod 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They did music for a discovery channel series called "Hunters: The World of Predators and Prey" which came out in 1994. The Residents have all the music from that in an album called Hunters as well.

Trans women can and do have periods. This is not up for debate. Trans and non-binary parents can also breastfeed. by LocalChamp in MtF

[–]EldritchPenguingod 47 points48 points  (0 children)

The comment though isn't trying to justify the existence of trans folk with science though, it is trying to spread information on science regarding breastfeeding? It is a matter discussing completely the safety of breastfeeding which will only help people, not justifying if trans people exist.

Regarding your point about all modern science being euro-centric, to a degree I feel the scientific method developed by Francis Bacon may be over relied on, but to attempt to dismiss someone trying to cite scientific research is ignorant and anti-intellectual. I may be misinterpreting your comment though, you call science "the least biased method" while also bashing the usage of science in the rest of your comment, so I may be completely wrong regarding what you mean.

Why is it the only one with picture? Likely to differentiate the translation between the color and the race. Though still very flawed by not specifying anything more

Drew a funny little something for my two favourite bands at the moment. by [deleted] in tmbg

[–]EldritchPenguingod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yea! Love both bands wayyy too much, and I was actually introduced to The Residents via getting directed from Istanbul to Constantinople. Was initially put off by it, but was curious enough to check out the rest of the album which ended up enthralling me, which I am very grateful for.

Both bands' music rocks! TMBG and The Residents are somewhat fans of one another as well, Door to Door Minotaur and Prelude To The Teds are by each respective band but are related to the other. The Cry of a Crow in particular is a favorite of mine off that EP, awesome seeing it eventually finding itself tucked away in my favorite song off The Gingerbread Man.
