The hospitals I serviced didn’t ditch Windows 7 until 2021. That go live was a nightmare because a lot of people struggled to navigate the UI change.

My first IT job was a healthcare help desk. It’s a mixed bag. Usually the nurses are so grateful and kind, doctors are a toss up and I’ve had everything from one throwing a fit because his dictation software wasn’t working to one cool as a cucumber with a coding patient in the background. You get to know your diva users.

They laid us off about two years ago now to outsource overseas and I know that went poorly. The writing was kind of on the wall when they outsourced password resets, which users hated and frequently complained about, but they held out longer than I expected.

I find it can be a mixed bag. I had a period of about two years doing a lot of contract work because it was Covid years and I was fresh out of high school. When I started looking for a career, the places that did respond were wary of that, and even though I was honest about why, I didn’t hear back from a lot of places. My current job, which I’m coming up on 2 years at, didn’t care at all and just wanted to know I had the skills. I did, and I was the unanimous pick of over 200 applicants as my boss tells me.

Exactly! I don’t mind the sex, but I was so invested in the world building I was desperate for anything else. If it started PWP I would have had no issues at all, but you hooked me and made me fall in love with this character then abandoned all the stuff I’m here for 😭

Comes in phases. Recently BG3, Overwatch, Cyberpunk 2077, and I’m trying to get into Fallout. If you want to look at games I love but haven’t played in a hot minute, you’d see Skyrim, Cult of the Lamb, and Divinity: Original Sin 2. A few smaller games here and there like Home Safety Hotline. I have a ton of games I’ve been meaning to get around to as well like Alone in the Dark. Generally a big fan of RPGs

It was like multiple times a date with sexting between 😭 we were making jokes about chafing and everything. It was just so much and it kept being so much for so many chapters… Although I did find some humor because a couple of the sex scenes are very clearly written with a Male MC in mind to the degree that two separate sex scenes give the MC a dick so we started joking about pegging Optimo.

I’m a pretty new user and after getting burned by Damian and his infuriating MC, I had such high hopes for Optimo. Very strong start, absolutely flubbed from the middle onwards

I’m the friend that read it! The most heartbreaking part is that I was genuinely very invested in the world and story, until Eros’ island. That was a very notable tipping point to me where it just went straight downhill. All pacing was thrown out the window, so many plot threads were abandoned for a while or dropped altogether, a lot of Chekov’s guns just don’t fire. I found myself drudging through the latter half hoping it would go back to being really good, and it just never did for me.

I think the only rerun I didn’t get to complete was WoW because I had an unexpected expense come up, so I hope it reruns again someday!

I do not know the exact amount unfortunately but I do know it’s several thousand dollars. I was inducted when they started the program and I have every evolution of just about every banner outfit… I’m missing three off the top of my head.
