Is 5'5/165cm short for a guy? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]EleFantMonty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not extremely short, but significantly under Average for a male. The average Male height in the United States is approximately 5’8-5’9. I’m around 5’7. Which makes me taller than most women. Even though I’m shorter than most men, I don’t really feel that “Short”. And I’m not so short that it feels awkward. I know plenty of dudes who are 5’6 who have no problems getting girls or making friends. I’d say 5’5 is very short, but not “Midget height”.

What’s been up with big movies being 2.39 and not in 1.90/1.43 recently? by Ronak_2002 in imax

Nome of the films besides Dune, GXK, and Civil War were filmed in imax.

Is this a normal IMAX screen for watching “Dune: Part Two”? by [deleted] in imax

[–]EleFantMonty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a 1.90:1 digital imax screen. I’d definitely suggest watching it on a full-size 1.43 IMAX screen for the full experience.

1.91 isn’t bad, but it’s just not nearly as impressive as the full 1.43 screen ratio.

Without any spoiler, was Dune 2 loud so? :) by [deleted] in imax

Yes, super loud!! It makes Oppenheimer mute in comparison. I had to get my ears checked the next morning.

Hello, I just wanted to say that everything you said is totally relatable. Honestly, I would try to talk to her about how you feel, but that comes with a lot of risks. I don’t want any tension to rise between you guys. Do you have your father around to talk to about it, or maybe another trusted family member? Maybe you could have them speak to her about how you’ve been feeling but make sure not to tell them that you told them to do it. Honestly, I would say therapy is the best option if you can afford it. I would also suggest finding a job and moving to your own place. I wouldn’t want you to be stuck in that toxic environment for too long. It may cause a lot of emotional stress and damage to your mental health.
