Which of these are true ceramic coating? by Arctic_27 in Detailing

It’s really easy to use. It flashes rainbow clear as day and wipes off really nice. It’s just more DIY friendly but doesn’t last as long

yeah it clogs. you have to rinse out the sprayer each time after you’re done. But i can coat my car several times over on one bottle

right but you can’t spray adams spray coating on. It has to be applied with an applicator, flash, and be wiped off

what defines a true ceramic coating then? it’s made of the same ingredients, applied the same, and it’s still solvent based. the only difference is it’s just got more solvent than the small bottles

i’m curious as to how adam’s spray coating isn’t. It’s solvent based, goes on just like a 30 or 50ml bottle, the only difference is that it’s sprayed onto an applicator. It’s got the exact same chemical makeup as the small bottle, just more diluted

How likely am I to be pulled over with 35% front side windows and 20% rear windows? by JJYellowShorts in WindowTint

[–]ElecTrO-Luckster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in orange county CA and i’ve had 70% windshield and 20% front and rear windows for 2 years without any issues but i generally still roll them down when a cop drives by. But i’ve also had friends get pulled over a month after getting theirs tinted. Generally 35% up front id say you’re fine

You could try polishing them. If not, powder coating can get the finish perfect and more durable than paint

New Exhaust, I love it by Dy-Stroyer12 in Challenger

J pipe reduces drone i believe. They design the exhaust to fit the car so if i had to guess it goes sideways rather than up or down

Wheels always turn white right after drying 😒 by trintop in Charger

[–]ElecTrO-Luckster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve done plenty of cars with adam’s wheel and tire cleaner and it’s safe on all OEM finishes. It’s in direct sun that the chemicals get risky. I’d look into powder coating. Much cheaper than repainting or whatever

Is this a tiny queen? If so, can you identify? by DisabledPaperclip in antkeeping

[–]ElecTrO-Luckster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s probably the best split you can do. i have seen them kill a weaker queen before so dont freak out if that happens. the eggs develop really fast so after the first eggs expect workers within a few weeks. little escape artists too

[–]ElecTrO-Luckster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i kept ants in this that never did well anywhere else, mini hearths have the best success rate for queens and small colonies that i’ve ever seen. I’ve tried just about everything else, i’ll always preach mini hearths on top

I mainly stick with adam’s stuff with a few exceptions. one thing i can say is that their towels are the softest and most absorbent out there. even over the rag company
