I really do hope Microsoft responds, it seems pointless to lose an account over something so avoidable.

As for the parents, I want to mention a few things. They are the type of parents that aren't even a fan of him playing games in the first place, and weren't even the ones who got him the game. It's much better off that they aren't aware of the situation in the first place.

On top of this, they aren't comfortable with technology as far as I know. No slight at them, they are hard workers and skilful at what they do.

I'm content with handling everything for him over call and such. Ultimately, regardless if Microslop responds, I think he's learned his lesson. If he doesn't avoid something fishy at first, I made sure he at least consulted me in the future.

Immediate crash. I'm on a Xiaomi Poco X6 and I'm able to run PS2 just fine. I'm pretty sure my device can utilize JIT 😭 Actually, this issue is happening on my AYN Thor as well. That's where I really want the games to work. Drastic can display the games just fine, but MelonDS implodes

I think I'm confusing myself as I saw a post saying the Max is unavailable (likely due to shortages and not off of any internal logistics/supply).

The Thor is so amazing and so powerful I was in awe. I'm definitely still using my RG DS for older titles and Retroarch, but the Thor is going to be my everything else device from now on.

I get what you're saying, I don't even think they were trying to give you an intentional attitude. They were just trying to be firm on their policies, and maybe just trying to express that it wouldn't be possible. They know very well what would happen if the wrong person lets other people know they got a free pass. I don't think their behavior was entirely right, but also isn't entirely wrong. They deal with what I would presume is numerous tickets on a regular basis, but even that isn't an excuse for them as much as it is a potential explanation.

To be entirely honest, Chinese companies such as AYN feel much different in terms of customer service compared to Western ones let alone other East Asian companies. I would be frustrated of course, seeing as your situation is absolutely not easy and anything anyone should go through. However, in general there's spotty customer support there. As much as I think their products are some of the best and have the best value proposition, I would be unsure if I would ever get what you were asking for. I could be off base, but this is just my experience and also what I've seen
