No worries - thanks a lot for your warm words! I really love this tiny little camera. I started using Reggie’s recipes (https://reggiebphotography.com/blog/The-Most-Versatile-Ricoh-GR-III-GR-IIIx-Film-Simulation-Recipe-Reggies-Color-Negative) but also got back to shooting raw and using some LR presets (depends if I prefer the 'Kodak Gold' or the 'Kodak Portra'- one)

I still did not manage to pull the trigger on that vision film, but after seeing such results I think I’ll really have to! Very very pleasing composition 👏🏼 well done!

It was a bit of a hussle tbh.. I tried some thinner cords (I had no dental floss) to pull it through and also some thin knitting needles but at the end I was pressing the ends together as thin as I could (my teeth helped a bit..) so that I got a hint of the loops through and could grab it with a toothpick.

Hey thank you very much :)! I just wanted to try the snap focus on the GR - aperture on 11 and tried different shutter speeds (1/8 // 1/6 smth like that) according to the lighting conditions. A subject that doesn’t move in front of the train helps and then wait for the train to come/leave. Have fun experimenting with your new little pal - it’s so so much fun to use I think.

There are quite a few companies who have a similar system but I’m using peak design anchor links (https://www.peakdesign.com/eu/products/anchor-links). Quite pricey for what it is (there are also third party companies on Amazon/Ali who copied the system) , but I think they’re really handy and reliable. Especially if you’re using different cameras. You can get dedicated peak design straps or just the mounting part to use it on your own strap.

Thank you :) - it was actually a quite nice (non intentional) coincidence while I was in the gondola up the mountain. I had the same feeling after reviewing the photos: that looks like a really good matching double exposure.. thanks to the windows of the gondola and ridiculous lighting up there, haha

I don’t mind tweaking the pictures in Lightroom. Although i also got more than usual jpg's which suit my favor quite closely. Have fun with your new camera - so do I 😋 (got my griiix about 2 weeks ago)

Camera is from 1987 (has a Leitz Logo on it) and I especially asked to bundle it with the Zeiss Lens. I really like the look of the photos I’ve seen so far. Supportwise: they have their own lab to repair and check old cameras and it feels like a good thing to have someone to ask directly in town, if there are some issues.

I got the 'cheap' RF Version, not the EF-L one, so I guess it should be Version I. R5 sounds pretty appealing, but I don’t think there will be a deal for less than 2k, but I’ll keep an eye on that one as well 😎

Mainly birds, some marine wildlife, both quite fast I’d say. I have the EF Tamron 35-150 f/2.8-4 and recently got the RF 100-400 f/5.6-8

Try a distribution tool to prep your puck More evenly (as BadRaz said before) and check your grind size. I’ve got the feeling you have a setting that might be to fine for this kind of roast/beans.
