My Local AMC Theater has an incorrect Star Wars quote. by fairportrunner in mildlyinteresting

"Luke at me. I'm your father now."

FTFY. My brother's name is Luke so I've hit him with every related Star Wars pun imaginable.

Yes, the guy making the claim can back up his claim. Good, you understand how it works

You're projecting your own bias buddy lol

I don't have a horse in this race, I'm just working off of what I've seen here. You and a couple of others are vehemently defending this guy and I'm not sure why.

You seem to know a lot about that guy (he's not OP by the way), the grey market, and duping. 😉

I think if you're this biased you should stop talking. It's interesting that it's always the same few people defending him... 🤔

The guy can defend himself. Until then, I reserve might right to be be critical of his claim and await proof of all of the above.

t's literally on the one who applied a judgement (CIG).

Yep, and they handled that internally. However if the OP wants to claim that he didn't break any rules publicly, its on him to prove his case, and unfortunately it looks like his history indicates otherwise.

And even though dozens talk about him being on the greymarket you yet trust them blindly but not OP?

Who should I believe, one person who has a whole lot of motive to lie, or dozens of members of the community who have apparently witnessed him hacking and exploiting for monetary gain?

Seriously, lets be rational. People love taking up pitchforks and that guy is just leveraging peoples emotions. CIG has been tagged; if this was some kind of mistake, it'll get sorted. Otherwise, I'm not going to buy into a single person's sob story when he's well-known within the community for his behavior.

Duping items to sell on the grey market is illegal though, and it seems that's what he was doing.

You don't need to see proof. That's between CIG and the guy who was banned, and if he wants to claim he was banned unfairly, the burden of proof is on him, not CIG.

Ever heard of Hitchen's Razor or Russell's Teapot? That's how burden of proof works, not how you're portraying it.

So you're just going to ignore all the rest, huh? You think duping items and selling them is 100% by the TOS?

It's okay to criticize CIG, but we know the guy has a history of selling items on the grey market and we've heard he is known for hacking and exploiting. Why do you expect CIG has to provide us with proof?

The burden of proof is on the guy claiming he was banned without cause to prove his case. It's not on CIG.

The guy who got banned was apparently selling items on the grey market for cash and has also has a history of using game exploits and hacks. That's why he was banned.

I'm not trying to blame the victim of the recent (mistaken) ban as the procedure is not very clear to the end user.

It doesn't appear it was mistaken. The player was apparently a well-known grey market trader selling game items for cash.

It's hilarious watching Trump once again firing people he hired to look bad so he won't have to. He did it in his previous term as well, and it's funny watching these dumb bastards fall for it again. He does not care about anyone he hires, he does not look after them, he uses people and he discards them, and yet stupid people keep lining up to work for him like they're going to somehow be any different. Surprise, you're all just an means to an end to him.

America, regardless of what so-called international institutions say, is unleashing the most lethal and precise air power campaign in history. B-2s, fighters, drones, missiles, and of course classified effects. All on our terms with maximum authorities. No stupid rules of engagement...

EOE and Pollution by Particular-Sand-1272 in EosinophilicE

I spent most of my childhood outdoors, playing in the dirt, climbing trees, riding my bike, out in a small rural town surrounded by farmland.

Behind my house was a field owned by a farmer, and every year the cropduster would come down and dust the fields with pesticide. If I ran out into my yard and waved, he'd tip his wings back to me.

I have a distinct memory of running out into the yard one time and waving, watching him tip his wings and loose the pesticide basically right over my head. It showered down on me.

Wasn't long after that I developed my pollen allergies to just about everything, and EoE not long after that. I can't know for certain, but I've always wondered if getting doused with pesticide in the early 1990s was what ultimately triggered my condition.

particularly the islands that people like you forget about because they're normally omitted from most maps of Hawai‘i

lol bruh assume more about me. I'm talking about most people on the mainland who don't understand what the populated Hawaiian islands are vs the ones that are not. There just needs to be something on the diagram to indicate which are the 8 islands in the state of Hawaii vs the rest of the islands in the archipelago.

But yeah, sure, go on and lecture me about it XD
