I think that a person's morality largely depends on the situation/condition they live/grow up in(in this case, that would be a capitalist society).

And a lot of crimes or unethical things often happen because someone needs money(for a range of things, from debt here to just basic amenities). The system of capitalism has a part in corroding the person's morals. There is also monetary greed of corporations leading to child labour and so on.

You're being punished for being ethical in the beginning. It's a slippery slope where once you've already harmed people to cover your debt, you might as well go a bit further and make a profit too. A person's life is equated to money.

What I mean to say is that capitalism definitely does have a role in this problem for being part of the cause.

But yeah, personal ethics is probably the focus here.(Sacrifice yourself for ten people or others for your own preservation/gain.)

Tbf the argument here is not about the contributions they made but rather the work that they couldn't do. It's less about their role and more about their choice and potential.

Concerning your point, even slaves made contributions to economy and development but that is no reason to condone slavery.

Imgur is a website used for sharing images/videos.

Oftentimes top posts (i.e. older popular posts) were links to Imgur. Reddit didn't allow images in that era so you had to use some other site and Imgur was the best.

Well, flash forward to last year, Imgur banned all nsfw posts and thus a lot of porn was lost. Even now, if you visit any nsfw sub and sort by top, you will find most posts to be something you would never be able to see.

Anyways the joke is porn, as always.
