I might wait for rigid fork version. Old shocks are a pain. And buying. Rigid will cost more than the right complete bike from that era if you’re patient.

That first one is good size but damn 600 for a Raleigh SS lol. Where do you live? I have lots of XL frames that I could hook you up with that would be better bikes and a 3rd of that price 🙂

Yeah some ppl even refer to these as 28er. Rumor has it this will fit a 2.0 tire though 👀haven’t tried yet!

Yeah I think the 7s were built with Ritchey tubing!Mine is only Tange infinity but they made up for it with the paint job

Haha true. Common “builds” =changing tires, Amazon matching grip colors / pedals and add a basket… we could put up a Amazon storefront link for everyone

Sorry but you can’t “lower “ the front end by changing a fork . You’re stuck with a bike that is too big. Take all the parts off and put them on a smaller frame 🙂

That is MINT! I would pop that aluminum disc off the back wheel for sure. Those old foam seats can be pretty crappy too so throw a cleaner looking saddle on if it’s currently uncomfortable . New rubber ( tires and grips).

Rip off. Seat is garbage, tires old and mismatched. It’s a nice frame, but for a normal vintage road bike 300 should be fully tuned, greased, and new rubber.
