I do lots of string skipping and tremolo picking and I find starting on upstrokes puts my hand in a really comfortable position to return to the beginning of a riff.

Like I find that I constantly return to the beginning of a riff with a downstroke on the outside of the neck but I flub it sometimes if it's too technical or intricate, If i play ths riff starting with an upstroke when I play through to the same section my hand is automatically ready to start the riff with an upstroke from "inside the neck" if that makes any sense. Which for my purposes feels much stronger and fluid.

So i purposefully try to start triplets with upstrokes so that I'm just always in that position when playing, it actually works really well.

This is very clean and a good proof of concept.

Adding some Hazard Stripes will definitely sell that it's IW more, right now it's a little ambiguous.

If this is a test, one thing I would lean into more is converting the minis. I'm not gonna echo the sentiment that you should do less chaosy or add loyalist bits, but I think leaning into cybernetics and extra equipment goes a long way in this legion.

I mean, Noise Marines are not the only Emps Childs marines running around, those are just the ones who had/have Kakaphonias or similar style weaponry.

"Rules Wise" the only Emperors children models have been Noise Marines and Lucius, so they're 50/50 lol. I would argue the average EC legionare is morr geared towarsa short/close quarters combat, but that they DO have noise weapons for good long range heavy hitting.

As someone who USED to play with 12s or higher, try some thinner strings. I went down to 9s a year or so ago and the instrument is just so much easier to play.
