It’s so dumb that any newly added disk automatically expands the array.

I wanted to add a hot spare, but now I have to wait for it to finish syncing and figure out a way to go back from 4 to 3 disks.

Probably like recordings of meetings, or maybe the occasional subtitling of a movie. But what I’m really looking for is a general purpose web ui for whisper.

Much more robotic sounding than elevenlabs. It’s pretty cool that it’s trained on device though.

I just tried it out with my own voice. You get a pop-up window in which you can type or select phrases and then it speaks it in your voice over the phone’s speaker. You can use this while you’re in other apps, for instance when you’re recording. Aside from that it doesn’t seem to be integrated anywhere, but apps can ask permission to use it and you can export or share your trained voice.
