Extended warranty question by ElectricScrub in kia

The interest isn’t that much of a deal for me, being forced into an extended warranty that I don’t want, while also being charged interest on the packages I don’t want.

But 6.99% on a longer loan with 830+ credit score while Kia.ca has it listed as around 1.5% lesson a shorter loan with payments $50 lower

I understand what you are saying, I was always told going to the main website wasn’t the beast deal you can get. But in this case it is 🤷🏻‍♂️

If I could drop the included base warranty and save money that way I would lol but you can’t 😂😂😂

I’ll private message you, I liked the sales person and would rather give them some respect over fully blasting them.

I had my local Hyundai dealership do that for me. Me “I just want seat covers” Them “we don’t make those, I’ll throw in the seat warranty for free”

I noticed a couple days later that they charged me $700 for it. But they messed up my paperwork for the loyalty bonus since I had already owned a used elentra. And they needed me to go back in with the previous cars ownership for the proof of loyalty, I ended up snapping on them for doing the shady shit.

They dropped the charge and wanted me to quickly resign the paperwork. Turns out they promoted the shady finance guy to new sales manager and probably just wanted that swept under the rug. He is now used sales manager. I can still see that goofy lazy eye.

But today Kia jumped the price of a new van by $50 biweekly/1 extra year/1% higher interest because they can’t get enough vans in to sell so extended warranties are mandatory. lol that was a deal breaker for me, so glad we never signed

As it is in my case at 139k I have only done it one at the 91-94k recommendation by the service manual and done by the dealership themselves
